Should I make my own special character?

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post my own special character or not. I was wondering if anyone out there has made up their own character? Is this a good idea? If I get some positive responses I'll post the character here on the forum. His name is Khoron Redfist and he has a pet War Hydra.

You have to watch out, though. Your own special character can be attractive but it can get pretty frustrating getting permission to use it in every game. You can't use it in tourneys, either.

You can also make a character with normal rules, and give him a name and a history, as I did. Lord Khelek is an extraordinary Druchii... for his (and my) fortress I converted a lot of models, such as Orcs, Goblins, Saurus, and Skinks to give him a bunch of slaves! :twisted:

There's a High ELf slave too...

Your own special character will add depth to the army, go for it!

Check my special caracther (sp? I can't spell it for some reason, mental block

), Kaleth the Damned on the Druchii Discussion section, that might give you a few pointers.
I try to have a special characther to lead all three of my armies when they reach 3,000+ (I usually stop at 3,000 because I'll never play games bigger than that, even with the GW staff)

Dwarfs - Kadrin Ironmane, Lord of the Black Mountian
Dark Elves - Kaleth the Damned, Captian of the Dominator
Orcs and Goblins - Boarzag da Bigga (Boarzag da Big died horribly in a campaign me and my mates tested)
