A few thoughts...

The army's design is to be deployed (most of the time) in 2 parts - the shooty elements, and the rest of the list. The opponent has to choose whether to go after the shooty piece or ignore it and try to weather the shooting. The shooty piece is designed to be threatening enough and somewhat protected against chaff like terradons, but cheap enough to just throw away.

The rest of the army is extremely fast/hard-hitting and synergizes with Beasts magic. Bubbled Savage Beast is huge here. Sorceress w/ Manticore is to be used very offensively.

The non-BSB Master and the Dark Riders in particular are there to tie up problem units, like huge steadfast blocks, or to hold/redirect a unit/monster in place for a charge or just tie it up for as long as possible. (Pan's Pelt makes him T7 w/ 1+ armor)

Anyone have any thoughts on character kits, unit size, or changes they'd make?

Thanks for looking!
So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong and to strike at what is weak.
