Ok here's the question:
Do places like Esk - the ghyraan stone rewards effect the whole campaign or is it just for the one fight in esk - the ghyraan stone? In other words can the attackers now force march D3 units in all of the SoC campaign fights, or just for the one event? Thanks in advance...

That depends - there are worldwide events, nationwide events and location specific events.
For example, Demons with 3d6 Ld and Beastmen who ambush one unit less are global.
THe Ghyraan Stone I don't know, but here in Germany we had a nationwide event that allows all attackers to use Deathbringers, regardless of which army they play.
And then there are site-specific events, where in the event description is stated which site is affected.
If there is no mention of a specific site, this event sounds like a nationwide Bonus that applies to all battles.
