Dealing with Heretics
I thought I'd take this opportunity to share some strategies that worked well for me in my last game using the ToK list against the CoP.
ToK Annointed TKO
Hide an assassin in the unit you expect the Annointed on his Steed of Slaanesh to charge. Equip him with a 2nd hnd wpn, RoK, and Mortal Fury. When the annointed charges, reveal him. His high initiative will allow him to strike first (unless your opponent has both speed of Slaanesh and Soporific musk). 5 attacks, hitting on 3s, wounding on 4s, rerolling hits and wounds in CoB range. Odds of killing blow are very nice.
Bolt Barrage
Lacking armour, the CoP, comprised of devoted, daemonettes, and mauraders, is extremely vulnerable to missile fire. Two units of 20 RxB on hills rapidly reduce their numbers, allowing your WE to make quick work of the survivors.
Favoured of Khaine, well worth the points
Should you face a savy opponent, you'll likely see Slaaneshii magic used to make you, in essence, defeat yourself. (Titilating delusions on your Sanguine Brides, sending them into your Execx, ouch) To prevent this, I suggest taking a priestess with the Favoured of Khaine ability. Place her in a unit of WE and place your other WE/SB units around the first, providing much needed magic resistence.
Anyone else have any suggestions?

I have a few hints:
-watch out for their speed: they can have shades and dark riders, and without looking to them in particular they can easily lead your frenzy units away from where you want them.
Shooting them can help
-remember the MoS: with it, they are completely immune to panic, and also any fear/terror that you can bring means nothing to them. This means that unit sof spearmen are worth more than knights in this case, for example.
-the size: their armies are generally small, as they are restricted to a general of at least 120 points or so and a core unit of 120 points before they can decide to take anything. This means that if you go MSU, you will outnumber them horifically.

lol, at least someone started this for me i have been working on something like this along the lines of know thy foe, it is still inomplete as a, it is to long and b, Deathraider has got my hordes of chaos book.
but so far thi is going great keep it up guys here is a sample of what i have been writing.
Druchii Anointed: the Druchii anointed are elves that have been around since the time of the sundering wondering the globe, searching for power, they are elves possessed by demons, with the Mark of Slannesh making them immune to psychology, and clad in chaos armour these elves are perhaps the most powerful in existence, their demonic gifts making them even more formidable such as quickening blood which allows an anointed to always strike first even armed with a great weapon, this means he can deliver a flurry off S7 attacks before any opponent even has a chance to strike. With his ability to cause fear, and a 5+ ward save against non magical attacks a Druchii anointed is perhaps the most powerful character in the game. Once again with the option of taking a Steed of Slannesh, with its phenomenal movement, he can strike at your heart before you even have a chance to react.
Strengths: Higher Toughness than a normal elf, High Strength, Demonic gifts, Causes Fear, Chaos Armour, Potential Magic User, Can be mounted on Steed of Slannesh, Access to both Dark Elf and Chaos Magic items.
Weaknesses: Cannot be Army General, Very Expensive, Can be exposed if mounted on a steed of Slannesh.

yes it is still a work in progress, if deathraider would kindly return my chaos book i am certain i could get it finished by 2morrow evening. advice on how to beat them will be coming.

Hey Voodoomaster I have checked but i don't have your book, I think beastmaster kurlan may have it though

Ah tactics
1 lill thing, Maldor: you said that it is advisable to take a priestess, however it is a must, since a noble nor an assassin can be a general, you must take at least a priestess.
About them, I advise taking a priestess in every WE unit you have, these ladies massacre, they are totally worth their points. 5 S3 Poisoned attacks, with 50 pts allowance for cool goodies, and that is not even taking the extra DD . Now if you put such a beauty in a WE unit, and you include a hag with witch brew as well, you put them in a 3x4 formation and you still have 15 poisoned attacks! All at ws5 and 5 of them maybe have a cool goodie like extra S of killing blow... (tried this and it works wonders )
Next cool unit:
Executioners, just stick in a draich, and give him Rune of Khaine, since he now has 3 killing blow attacks he is quite a killer, capable of killing even lord class combat chars in challenges and not to mention a slayer of heavy cav! put them in a 3x4 formation and you have 6 Killing blow attacks in the front rank .
Now ofcourse this can all be combined with the cauldron... giving you some true wicked punch matching khornes armies.
Now this is all very expensive I know, but I see Khainite armies as elites, the best of the best, and thus they deserve stuff like this
To the "how to kill slaanesh" part.
I vote for shooting devoted, they are true bitches in CC... making you hit on 5's while they hit on 2's... + they won't break so I suggest... shoot m.
I have no experience with anointed so I'll leave that to the experts...
About the unbreakable units... Do not worry about that. Your units are way cooler in CC so even though they won't break... WHO CARES just less to run away . The speed of the cultists is annoying but we have some counters for that... Most of the time you will get outmanouvred but the CC phase should make up for that...

About the unbreakable units... Do not worry about that.
So that would be: the Spawn. Which can be dealt with as usual.
Aside that thing, the CoP has no Unbreakable units. The mark only gives immune to psy, but that only helps vs fear, terror, panic etc. Not against break tests.
The daemons are Unbreakable in a way, seeing as they don't run, but they can go poof!

I must say that the executioner combo works wonders! 3 CoK in 1 turn! ghehehehe (2 sixes on the to wound roll helped....)
