Famous Lizardmen Armylists

Post by Columind »

Can anyone tell me where I can find some famous or tournament winners/2nds/3rd place armylists?
The official Lizardmen forum is not very helpful and I really don't know where to look and I need inspiration...
Thank you. :)

Tried the Pyramid Vault? It seems to be the Lizardman equivalent of Druchii.net.

On a side note, I think I might also start a little Lizzie force sometime soon just for kicks. I'm Druchii at heart, but it doesn't hurt to have pets. :D
Because anyone vicious enough to shoot down her own battlecruiser because there might be a traitor at the helm deserves to have a Druchii namesake.

My thoughts exactly General Kala.
By the way, when I was refering to the Oficial Lizardmen Forum, I was talking about the Pyramid Vault...:|
I don't know if it's the oficial one, but it's the only one I know...

Prince Cal posted a list of links to results where High Elves did well in tournaments. About 3 or 4 of them also show some extremely good Lizzie stats as well, including 1 tournament where the top 2 or 3 were all Lizzies.

Just throw in:

A Slaan
Skink Priest
Jaguar Saurus

4x10 Skinks

2x4 Krox
2x3 Terradons

Stegadon
3xSallies

and you should be well on your way...

Or you could take the infamous 2MD approach, the you_cant_touch_me list. Something like:

Slann, 4th gen, +1 spell, familiar, diadem
2 Skinks, one has MotOO and Megascroll
Jaguar Saurus

2x3 Terradons
5 Terradons
(9 Chameleons)?

2x3 Sallies

and rest as many skinks as you can cram...usually 5x10.

If you want a really good lizzie list I strongly surgest you get Chesney to give you his, he finished in the top 15 at the UK GT Finals this year with that list. I can't do much more than that because I don't know anymore.

PMPN8EZ in one of the examples Lizzies scooped all of the top 3 places.

the too many dragons style list is an incredibly succesful list.

the large majority of high placing lizzy lists are based on this formula.
Buying Warhammer minis - expensive as hell

Seeing grown men list their win/loss/draw results in their sigs as though it compensates for anything - priceless.

Its "Too many Danes"...since one year many Danes entered UKGT with almost the exact same lists and they all finished very high. I guess Asger could fill everyone so much better on this one ;) .

dunno more sites than the pyramid vault, which is quite abandoned.. :( but maybe the warhammer-palace some1 else posted above....
but for a winnig list, you have to put in a lot of skinks and some more skinks, and still more skinks, in balance with even more skinks... !eek! and then put in a lot of warriors/veterans/kroxigor and some salamanders and a stegadon to fill the last points.

Well originally it was too many dragons, the name of the danish gaming club, but it was referred to ever since as too many danes.

the warhammer forum has a lot of stuff on the list , you might want to look there.

The Pyramid Vault is not at all abandoned. It has its periods of fluxing activity and rest. It just isn't as heavy on army lists as some other forums which shall go unnamed... ;)

Maybe because a Lizardmen armylist tends to be easier to do.
We DE are always afraid some portion of our army doesn't fully work, which in our case, can mess with your plans in a very significant way...
