Your opinion on every single army

Copied this over from warseer, tought it was kinda fun(hope noone is offended by this, wasnt my intention). Go on and praise your favoured armies and throw some dirt at the ones you dislike!

Beasts of Chaos: Really like them, beast herds are great for baiting and screening your expensive units.
Bretonnia: Lanceformation feels overpowered in the 7th ed rules, other than that i guess they are ok. I'd never play them, wouldn't like painting every model in an induvidual colour scheme, and although they have some great knights, and i'm I great fan of cav, their other options are quite I poor and I just dont think they feel very interseting. Fluffwise anyway.
Dark Elves: Love their fluff! Anyone read the Malus Drakblade books? Malus is such a sweet/evil character. :D Gamewise I think they are kinda nerfed, especially compared to the newly released high elves, but that does not in any way make me dislike them, how could you not love their models? Executioners are the coolest infantry in all of WHFB I'd say.
Dogs of War: They're not really a race as such, they dont even have an armybook... :S
Dwarves: Kinda cool but not my style at all. With M3, they are way too defenceive for me, if it isnt cavalry its not worth having. :P When I play I am ALWAYS the attacker, so I could never see myself playing dwarves succesfully. I support their cause against the siussy elves tho, that is, the wood and high elves.
Empire: I like them, with the empire you can field every type of army(except prehaps an elite infanty army...) Cool fluff, decent miniatures, fullplate armour, knights...
High Elves: Boring miniature range. ASF is cheesy as hell, ye sure they needed a boost, but did they really need it THAT big?!? Its not like they were much worse than the current dark elves for example. I think all elves are sissy, dark elves are an exeption, but high elves are not. Too weak, too haughty and aloof for my taste.
Hordes of Chaos: Hell yeah! Rock hard cav, characters, chariots and infantry. Demons pretty much suck, but no matter, chaos has such a huge range of models to choose from that it doesnt matter. Sure, I admit, they can be quite a powergamer-army, especially khorne(which i like to play 8) ) but then theres that old saying... If you cant beat them... Join them!
Lizardmen: Really cool models and fluff. The saurus are not as flexible as i would have preferred, but skinks and special choices make up for it.
Ogre Kingdoms: Ogres! I take DOW ogres in 90% of my other armies so I could never say anything ill against them. Numerous attacks and wounds each and a powerful charge range make them great for shattering enemy infantry, and what I love is that you dont have to remove so many models due to missile fire. Multiwound models are great!
Orcs and Goblins: The funniest army in the game. Greenskins is the army with most character, though I feel that GW missed out on much of this in the 7th ed army book. Personally I liked the 6th ed better, but I really love orcs. Of course 7th ed has brought some nasty surprises... Savage orc boar boyz anyone? :D
Skaven: Hate them. Ratmen...lizardmen are cool, reptile + human, but ratmen... rat + human? No thanks. The plastic models look horrible, their hands are friggin basketball sized. Weird fluff.. just weird imo. Dont like 'em.
Tomb Kings: My bro plays them, I play VC. Really like the egyptian theme. They dont have enough heavy hitters imo, ushabti are good but models are too expensive, they dont have any Heavy cav or elite infantry. Their shooting is good, withi is unique for an UD army, but I've never been much into shooting myself... Still, they are a fun foe to play against and one I hold no ill will against.
Vampire Counts: I play strigoi, it was that or Blood dragons for me. It all came own to comparing thralls, unupgraded, a strigoi thrall will beat any other thrall and they are the only true vampires in the sense that they are bats. VC can be played in several ways. The usual is having big regiments of footsloggers and some powerful characters, getting fear and them (characters) and to win your game. Thats not how I play. I take dire wolves and ghouls as core, black knights and fellbats as special. I win by outmanouvering my enemy, something that you might not think possible with a VC army. Suffice to say, they work great for me, I in no way feel the need for an update, but i know that many do and watch with interest what GW will make of them.
Wood Elves: More sissy elves. Tree-hugging even. Much cooler than high elves i must admit, but i dont like em. Treeman, and moving trees in generakl can be quite devestating, but I hate the idea of an army whose goal is to shoot the aenemy apart and win by dening the enemy from coming into combat. Sure dwarves shoot you apart, but at least they stand still. Suffice to say, I dont like playing aginst them.

Sure... I'm game!

Beasts of Chaos: Looks like fun to play. I might consider picking them up someday. From what I've heard, they're hard to play.

Bretonnia: A little too one-trick-pony for me. Pun intended. They seem boring.

Druchii: Forever my favorite army! Sure, we're not the strongest army... but that's just because we put all our points into being bad-ass. When we beat you, we make it look good!

Dogs of War: An interesting idea. If they made an actual book for them, I'd give them a try.

Dwarves: Even more boring than Bretonnia. And, if possible, more cheese. I sincerely think that GW has been tossing some major favoritism at them. At least the Brets have to worry about moving. I will never play them... I like having to think, plan, adapt, move, and change my strategy.

Empire: A bit too much like dwarves for my taste. They'd be a great all-around army... but so many people seem to turn them into gunlines. Plus, humans are boring. This is a fantasy game. What makes you think i want to play some dirty peasant with a mustache and bare feet?

High Elves: They're the dark elves with 90% less "cool". With their new rules, they're now one of THE strongest armies around. But I don't like their look or their fluff enough to take them up. Death to the Asur!!!

Hordes of Chaos: Chaos as a whole is incredibly diverse... which is cool! You can flavor your chaos any way you like... except shooting. My only problem with them is that Demons blow, and that's the coolest part of Chaos, I think. I want big winged demons with claws and barbed tails, ripping apart their prey. If demons ever become worthwhile, I'll pick them up for sure.

Lizardmen: A great army that can do a lot. One of the best in the game, list-wise. The Slann are seven kinds of absurd... but the rest of their models and troops are nice, and have decent models.

Ogre Kingdoms: My second army after the Druchii. Hard to play, but rewarding if you can pull if off. They are close combat monsters, and an Irongut charge is one of the scariest things you can be on the recieving end of. Genuinely lots of fun.

Orcs and Goblins: Funny and surprizingly, a very well-balanced army. Orcs and gobs are always fun to play against, and I've found that most people who play them have a good sense of humor. You'd have to, to deal with animosity, goblin leadership, troll stupidity, and their hilarious miscast table.

Skaven: Meh. I've never played them, or played against them. No real opinion on them.

Tomb Kings: They look like a lot of fun, and I like the undead, in theory. One too many battles with irritating VC players and their Blood Dragons (It's always blood dragons!) makes me like TK better... I'd be willing to try them someday.

Vampire Counts: I wanted to like them... but a few too many games against a real jerk soured me to them. I'd be willing to give them another try someday... and i'd say I'd play Lhamians.... but they took away all the clans.

Wood Elves: They have some amazing models, I have to say. I'm divided on them for one reason. Trees. It seems like the Wood Elf army does better the less actual wood elves you put in it. That's crap. If I ever played them, I'd use all elves. And... probably lose.

Beasts of Chaos: Nearly started them a few years back, I like the miniature range, and the background.

Bretonnia: Love the background. I would love to collect these guys. Painting every model individually would be great, bar the peasants etc.

Druchii: Great models, background and great tactics required, what more could a person who paints little men (sorry, elves) want?

Dogs of War: Not for me, too little uniformity about them...just a random assortment of people...

Dwarves: I like the background, but playing style only seems to be geared towards doing nothing...

Empire: Lovely new models, average background. Average army...just average.

High Elves: Love the background and the whole DE vs. HE thing. Some of the models are very nice, rules are nice, and the way they should be for elves. No complaints here, nearly picked them up before DE.

Hordes of Chaos: Lots of fun, great models and background, have a tiny army of nurgle.

Lizardmen: A bit mixed with these. They seem interesting I just dont know enough, and never seem to want to know any more than I do.

Ogre Kingdoms: Seem like fun...thats it.

Orcs and Goblins: Great fun. Nearly picked these guys before DE also. I like the rules, background, models, nearly everything to do with these guys.

Skaven: I actually started a Skaven army a while back, they were a good laugh and as much as I like them, they never really suited me.

Tomb Kings: No opinion really...models wise I dont like rank after rank of nothing but white bone...

Vampire Counts: Like em. Interesting background, rules and the new models look tasty.

Wood Elves: Like them as much as the other elves. Im definately an elf person and the differences between the three are nice. I love the models and hope the DE get some new ones of similar standard.

Beasts: I love these guys - my most recent army, going back to druchii soon (go Lord of Ruin!) but still beasts are my freinds

Brets: maybe - i'm not a fan of the stainless purity aspect so i would probably go for mousillon - dark knights are coming....

Druchii: love them too give me more :)

Dwarves: meh, not really my style (for someone who plays magic and big movement thats not suprising) dont appeal just not fun really

Empire: maybe - some cool stuff can be done with them, so i would take them biut only once all my other evil lists are done

High Elves: meh again, fluff is good, cool models but the rules are just stupid now - its a shame

Hordes: not a great book generally, chaos in fluff is cool but i dont like the book or the army - only have it to check the magic items for my beasts :)

Lizards: nasty people, fluff ok, played against and they is hard - i wouldnt play them but they are nice

Ogres: would be a nice break from serious gaming

Orcs + Gobbos: weird, wont play them, dont fit my style

Skaven: potentially nice, mostly disgusting.... i will play them one day - once all black rats are allowed in tournies

Tomb Kings: possibly, some nice stuff can be done but ive already done undead so...

Vampires: these nice too, my 2nd army looking forward to revamp (;)) in new book

Woodies: I like these guys, fluff is good and so are models but they arent broken in the same way as HE just a tough opponent

Beast of Chaos;I like them ,I also nearly started them, nice different playing style also diverse :)

Brettonnia;Don't like them ,nice models though :(

Druchii -supreme masters of everything cool(though I dont play them.?....they are my absolute favourite army ) :D

Dogs of War - Too little uniformity for me as well :(

Dwarves - Dont like anything about the stunties

Empire -Nice army ,balanced but a little too human for me :(

High Elves -Love them as well ,nice fluff especialy all thing from Caledor :D

Hordes of Chaos- Very diverse, dont like marauder models though .I love daemons ,SOC DL is cool :D

Lizard Men - The army I origanaly wanted ,nice models, fluff and balanced ,its a good army :)

Ogre Kindoms -Hated them at first ,They have really grown on me :)

Orcs and Goblins -I love all Night Goblins ,balanced but not my thing :)

Skaven-I really dig their fluff ,models amd their rulrs are nice ,but painting them scary )respect to all skaven players :)

Tomb Kings -Nice ,but wouldn't blow my skirt up ,thats if I wore a skirt :(

Vampire Counts - Like em ,never started them :)

Wood Elves -My first army , interesting playing style .I am not a fan of thier fluff ,I wish they had a bigger impact in the Warhammer World as a whole .The models are awesome I hope the DE get the same treatment from GW :D :(

Beasts : Similar army style to Druchii, would have gone that way but the Beast just aren't Dark Elves, I mean, they're ugly and they smell, and well, they are the beasts of the field.

Bretonnians: Something in me likes to play the so-called sporting way, But I just knew I would get sick of painting Knights.

Druchii : Great models, great fluff, great Movement, great Ld. All I could want, except for better movement, better Ld. Ha!

Dwarfs : seem like the army of choice for spoilt children. I've been kicked in the shins by a lot of spoilt children. I hate spoilt children. Bleuhhh.

Empire : my first army, and sort of an everyman army. Fluff is almost as rich as DE, so there's a lot of room to move there. But the Empire list does not encourage gambling, and that is the big thrill of being a Dark Elf (or a beast).

High Elves : I would have, but... I just do not like the models., or the holier than thou fluff. You guys are d@#ks, and the Druchii shall prove it.

Hordes : another army I considered... but I just don't like pure evil, no more than I like pure good. Everybody is compromised.

Lizards. Holier again, except without even one redeeming vice. And I knew I would soon tire of painting lizard skin.

Ogres : Not a fan of the blood and guts modelling approach, which these guys just can't avoid.

Orcs : No thanks, I like to control my army. Plus I don't want to paint two hundred models and only have a thousand points.

Skaven : No thanks, I like to control my army. Plus I don't want to paint three hundred models and only have six points.

Tomb Kings : Don't like the basic concept, didn't look any further, and I have never met them in battle.

Vampires : same problem as TK

Wood Elves : Their lord/hero models are the best there is. Almost went to them for that sole reason. Also their core troops come with so.. many.. bitz.. But I didn't want to have to make a whole lotta scenery just to give myself a rough chance of victory. But now, I think I will anyway for my Dark Elves. Oh well. WE and DE were the finalists on my list, of what to do after Empire? The DE took it because, they, um, well, they just did.

Beasts of Chaos
Nice army, good minis, interesting background (as is always the case with Chaos). Great that they integrate with the other chaos stuff. Cyndi is building a Slaaneshi beast army at the moment and it's a lot of fun to work with and to play against.

Bretonnia
I like the Arthurian background fluff but this is really a boring army IMO. One of the few armies I've not even been tempted to play. Some of the minis are OK, bt only for use in other armies (example - I've used a couple of damsels on foot as sorceresses in my DE army, and a regiment of Men at Arms as a VC spirit host).

Dark Elves
Best fluff, best minis, best army by far - totally awesome !
Nuff said really...

Dogs of War
Interesting from a developers viewpoint as you get the chance to devise an extra army and include it with your main one. A chance to have fun. Not so keen on many of the DoW minis though, but Mengil's Manflayers are fantastic.

Dwarfs
OK, first things first - I'm an evil player
Everybody evil hates dwarfs with their stupid beards and their anti-magic. Wonderful detailed minis though - even the Skull Pass ones are very nicely made. One of those armies that bores me in terms of fluff but look very smart on the tabletop.

Empire
GW's favourite army going by the amount of stuff they do for them. Not my scene really, and they have some silly concepts and ridiculous gear (robot horses anyone ?) And as for the steam tank...
Not an army I'd want to play, but some very nice new minis there.

High Elves
My first army, so I do still have a slightly soft spot for them. Only problem with HE is that despite wonderful background and some nice minis, there's something inherently boring about them. Can't really put my finger on it but they just seem a bit lacklustre somehow.

Hordes of Chaos
Awesome - Chaos is just so versatile and has some truly great models (with a few notable duds such as the squid-headed Keeper etc). Always enormous fun to play with and to collect and paint.

Lizardmen
Hmm - on the face of it these guys should be really cool, and in some ways they are, but they seem to suffer from the same problem as HE, for just not being quite as exciting as they should be. Nice models though, apart from the Cold Ones which are notoriously crap.

Ogre Kingdoms
I complained loudly when these guys were released (mainly because I was impatient for the Wood Elves to come out and I felt that this was an unnecessary distraction). Since then I've warmed to them a bit, and I do like some of their models. Not really an army that appeals to me, but they're not as bad as I thought. Gnoblars are quite cool and fun, but they should be available to an O&G army - then again, that's what DoW is for.

Orcs & Goblins
I've always thought of this as a fun army - something that people do for a laugh. In fact it's a capable army (even the all-night goblin force that one of our players has). Since Skull Pass came out the goblin miniatures look really great - small and runty, just as they should be. Great fun to play against - even if they win they'll suffer horrendous casualties, often with hilarious effect.

Skaven
Another great horde army. Not as much fun to paint as O&G, and tends to be favoured by power gamers. Tough to fight against, especially if they have a lot of shooting, but always interesting and fun. Possibly a little too much of 40K influence in their weapons, but you can get away with that with Skaven. A good army overall, with tons of specialised units - like DE but with (lots of) rats.

Tomb Kings
The Egyptian influence in the background is great, but something about these guys is a bit dry and uninspiring. The models are great and the ability to swap bits with VC is very handy indeed. Undead armies are always cool, but this one is maybe not quite as cool as VC. (nearly, but not quite)

Vampire Counts
Wonderful background - I'm a huge fan of gothic horror so this army pushes all the right buttons for me. Some of the minis are in desperate need of updating, in particular some of the characters and those dreadful Dire Wolves (so dreadful that I used LOTR Wargs for mine). The new minis look stunning though - I can't wait for these to be released. I'm really hoping the parts are going to be compatible with the existing VC plastics though as I still have a lot of converting to do on mine.

EDIT: - I missed out this one...

Wood Elves
Interesting army with some nice minis. I was so certain I'd be starting these once the new book came out a couple of years ago but somehow I never got around to it. Oh well...
I like the background and the versatility of the army, but they still don't seem as much fun as Druchii :)

Beasts : An army I´ve considerd more than once but as with hordes of chaos I just couldnt make the army "mine". Very cool army though.

Bretonnians : Took a glance at them and promptly lost interest. Just knights of various configurations basicly.

Druchii : My 2nd army, played it for good while before losing interest. Stupidity was my main gripe with the army and concerns all armies. Dont like the rule and put even more chance in the game than it already is.

Dwarfs : My current army. I see alot of people think "oh they´re not doing anything" but this is far from the truth. As I´ve been a DE player myself I now know that just cause I can move faster with my infantry and have access to core fast cav doesnt mean I do more than my opponent. The deployment is far more important with playing dwarfs as it is very very hard to react to good opponent if you make a mistake during deployment. Also you have to force your opponent to react to you and do your movement for you so to speak.

Empire : Never tried them. Seem like a pretty nice army though filled with alot of cheddar... I say this mainly cause I´ve rarely seen a list without 2 Stanks, war altar, knights and ton of shooting to spice up

High Elves : used to be interesting list but the new rules dont appeal to me much. Dont think they´re even close to cheese yet.

Hordes : as with beasts I just didnt "feel" for the army.

Lizardmen : One day I hope to have an army of these. Love the nature of their list.

Ogres : Big beasts but nope, not that interesting.

Orcs : Fun to face but I dont like play an army which might just kill itself.

Skaven : Way way too much to paint. Dont like it at all.

Tomb kings : Fantastic army. Great fun to play but painting all that bone just turned me off.

Vampire Counts : My army I got after DE and still love. Just love em... right now I hope the book turns out alright.

Wood elves : first army, good fun but got rid of it. New list = annoying as well to face and basically wont ever play it myself.

.
Dwarfs : seem like the army of choice for spoilt children.

I am so tired of hearing this. Especially from someone who asks for more in the same post no less. Though I am aware some people have to face Thorek/anvil gunline lists which is giving us proper dwarfs a bad name.
As a closing note. You have no idea how blessed you are with so many fast units untill you´ve tasted a maximum movement of M3 other than the gyro.

Those are the dwarfs I mean. Those are the ones I have to face. My local is a Thorgrim anvil gunline, and he absolutely never makes a march move. Never. He just stands there and blows people up. * EDIT * oohh, I forgot to mention, he doesn't smile while he does it either.

You'll note that I do realise the Druchii are blest with great movement. Personally I find that just 1" better all round over my Empire army is a big boost. Not to mention core fastcav. And as I said, all I could want from the Druchii, they can already give me. Asking for better M, Ld, that's tongue in cheek.

No offense intended, all apologies.

and he absolutely never makes a march move. Never.
No need, they move 6' every time now. They always march, no matter how close enemy models are.

Beast of Chaos: I'm fine with them, easy to play with and against. Nice rules as well.

Brettonia: Very nice to play against. They are truly devastating on the charge but my magic and units run rings around them.

Dark elves: Love em :D

Dogs of War: Handy, fun to play against, have won me plenty of games in the past.

Dwarves: Annoying, though our units can easily pile their strong units, while our flyers wipe out their cannons.

Empire: One of the best armies you can play with, excellent to play against as well. Love the models.

High Elves: A tad over powered, though they are expensive, point wise.

Hordes of Chaos: Meh, I was over them after the Storm of Chaos came out.

Lizardmen: Great magic, they are probably the only race which can deal out as much havoc as our druchii do.

Ogre Kingdoms: I buy Man-eaters some days for my DoW apart from that I like the models and their rules and items.

Skaven: Can be very easy or very hard to play against. Those ramshackle Jezzails are pretty good though.

Tomb Kings: Good defensive Magic, great items and a great army to play with in tournies

Vampire Counts: Can't wait until they revamped. Their new models look sweet, good army to play with and against, good magic as well.

Wood Elves: They are best army in movement, my druchii armies can just keep up with some of them.

Beast of Chaos: Slaves

Brettonia: Slaves

Dark elves: Slave Masters

Dogs of War: Hired Slaves

Dwarves: Annoyingly stubborn slaves

Empire: Slaves

High Elves: Sacrifices

Hordes of Chaos: Different Slaves

Lizardmen: Slaves

Ogre Kingdoms: Slaves

Skaven: TO DAMN MANY SLAVES

Tomb Kings: Not good slaves

Vampire Counts: Not good slaves

Wood Elves: Sacrifices

Beastmen: Boring. Didn't think they felt like their own army, they felt like they were lacking something and just seemed dull. Thought their fluff was a bit weak too. Also, not a big fan of a lot of the miniatures.

Brettonia: Good solid army that can take on all comers, but they're just a lot of knights and thats about it. Found them a bit boring after a while.

Chaos: Again, quite boring. Ive never really liked the chaos fluff much and I dont like the army. They have some cool units and some amazing models though.

Dark Elves: Ace. Like the story and the models and I love the way they play. The fact that you can choose a radically different army list from your last game, and still win, is always good.

Dogs of war: As their own army they suck, they just dont gel together. I dont like hiring them either, kinda defeats the purpose a little. If skaven were meant to have a giant in their army then it'd be in the list. I can see why they exist but I dont like them myself.

Dwarves: I think Dwarves are a great army. Runic combinations are so much fun to toy with and there are loads of surprises you can spring on the enemy. Lots of cool units. Great fluff too, just a shame they dont do much more than shoot.

Empire: All round army, jack-of-all-trades, but sadly quite boring. I didnt like most things in the Empire list except for Warrior Priests, Flagellants and Pistoliers. Thought their story was a bit boring and I dont like the way they play.

High Elves: Played them before Dark Elves. I really like their story and the whole High Elf fluff but the units dont interest me. Magic and magic items are great though and I dont think they're overpowered now, they've just got a much needed boost.

Lizardmen: Dinosaurs are cool. Have some great units and are a really tough army, loads of scope for painting aswell. Sauras characters are some of the toughest in the game.

Ogres: Hell yeah! Ogres are awesome. Their fluff is one of may favourites in warhammer, I love how the army play, the models are all fantastic and you can make great conversions cuz the models are so much bigger it means you can fit loads of other stuff on that you cant on smaller models.

Skaven: My second army. Love these little guys - all scuttling about being mischevious. Like the story, the models and the way they play. Only downside is that once you learn to play with them, thats it and it doesnt change much and it takes an eternity to paint them.

Tomb Kings: Really interesting army. Some of the coolest models in the game (Ushabti) and are loads of fun. Downside is their magic can be cheesed up to the max and painting can get a bit tedious.

Vampire counts: My first warhammer army. I love zombies. Have lots of great units i.e ghouls, zombies, spirit host, black coach, vampires. But they lack oomph! and do need their upcoming re-do.

Wood elves: Love the fluff, models and style of play. But unfortuantely my friend played them and cheesed the hell out of them and now "Wood Elves" is something of a dirty word in our gaming circle.

Forgot to mention Orcs and goblins in my above post. Woops! Think they're loads of fun even if you lose a game with goblins involved you can gurantee it'll be funny to watch.

Beasts of Chaos: They have cool Models and everything. Could see myself playing them but never seem them in action

Bretonnia: Lots of Cavalry, terrible Infantry. Lots of Cheese potential especially with RAF, but arnt the worst. They have lots of Weaknesses that only skilled players can expose, but then again if you can expose anyones weaknesses you are skilled.

Dark Elves: Koolest guys ever. When I started Fantasy I had no doubt in my mind for them. Guys riding massive lizards, awesome infantry, killer beasties, and fast as hell units.

Dogs of War: I dont like them as a full army, ok as a squad attachment for a list for say slaves or something.

Dwarves: Boring boring boring. Stand and shoot. I couldnt think of anything worse.

Empire: They are good, dont like their infantry models (men in tights lol) but there artillary and cavalry are good.

High Elves: Apart from the fact I love Dark Elves and I hate these sissys, they are ok. Not as cheesy as everyone thinks

Hordes of Chaos: I dont exactly like Chaos in Fantasy even their infantry are walking tin cans. Powergaming fun.

Lizardmen: I like these guys. They are nice models and a fun army to play with and against.

Ogre Kingdoms: I havnt played them but they look kool and strong, but nothing a unit of witch elves cant handle :D

Orcs and Goblins: They are funny guys, can be great for modellers (Ive seen harry potter army converts and stuff) and fun to play coz they are very random

Skaven: They are ok I guess, GW didnt put much effort into them me thinks

Tomb Kings: They are really kool, massive armies of walking skeletons. Nice models

Vampire Counts: Not my Fav army, but the new models look very nice and cant wait to play against them.

Beast of Chaos: I'd like to start them as an army. They're an army that play differently to everything else, and were one of the first armies to break out of WH typical "armies are rank and file" doctrine.

Brettonnia: *Shrug* Human knights. Rip off of Arthurian legend.

Chaos Dwarfs: (Yes, that's right). There are a lot of great concepts in this "Dwarfs gone bad" army. They're very different to their mountain cousins, but have big hats and even bigger guns. I love the Earthshaker - wonderful piece of artillery.

Druchii: Interesting background, great models and solid (if sometimes uninspired) rules. Aiming to reform my CoP into a normal army at some point.

Dogs of War: Not a fan of mercenaries in any sense.

Dwarves: I despise Dwarfs who sit back and shoot, but like Iron breakers. Walking tanks ;).

Empire: Not a big fan of any of the 'good' armies. Empire just sit in the middle as the average army.

High Elves: Uninspiring models, uninspiring rules. Another army I despise on principle (only exceeded by wood elves).

Hordes of Chaos: Oh yeah. Someone say Chaos Knights? Now we're talking. Daemons don't appeal that much and marauders don't suit my view of a Chaos warband coming together as a bunch of hard as nails disgraced knights and nobles etc.

Lizard Men: Another 'meh' army. They just mish-mash a bit of Chaos, wood elves and high elves into the same army.

Ogre Kindoms: Could have been good, but the models and background do nothing for me.

Orcs and Goblins: Black Orcs rock. Nice and random for a laugh.

Skaven: Great background, some great models (globadiers are some of my favourite WH models) but some parts of the army feel glossed over in the chase for creating outlandish rules.

Tomb Kings: I prefer the darker nature of VC. While Ancient Egypt is interesting, as is the background of Nagash, Tomb Kings just err...lack any meat to get me interested.

Vampire Counts: Much more interesting. The character of the vampires is much more developed (regardless of the bloodlines) than the Tomb Kings. Very dark and the magic opens up a lot of interesting ideas. They have a more forgiving play style than most armies. They have some shocking models, though, which is a shame (soon to be changed, of course).

Wood Elves: Cheaty bunch of cowards. Come back and fight, tree-hugging wimps...

Beasts of chaos: A great army to play with and against. They aren`t easy to play just like like DE but what the heck! I love em!

Brettonia: Not my style. To strong in my oppinion due to ward save and lance formation. Quite boring to play with.

Chaos dwarfs: My favorite mass army. Maybe they are just a little bit boring but they are very different than dwarves. The best army to beat empire!

Druchii: Incredibly fun to play and also incredibly rewarding. There aren`t many armies that can be played so that you win in the final two turns. Love the models!

DOW: Also very fun to play they have to old miniatures. The best thing about them is that they are as versatile as chaos.

Dwarves: One word.... BORING!!! Organ gun is worth a lot more than 120 points in my oppinion!

Empire: A fun army to play against because they have a lot of weaknesses. It is great to develop new ways how to defeat them every game. I just hate the war altar.

Asur: I still think they are not that powerful then some people claim. To easy to shoot them apart and to outmanouver them.

Hordes of Chaos: Love the models, monsters, daemons,...
Fun army to play with and against even if there is a dragon in play.

Lizardmen: Hard but fun to play against. If you manage to kill the slaan you will probably win but that can be very hard.

Ogres: A very strong army if built and played right. Tyrant is just a beast and rhinox riders are dreadful on a charge. Overall a fun army but I don`t like to play against it.

Orcs: funy....:D:D

Skaven: A nightmare for dark elves

TK: Powerful when played right but pathetic in beginers hands

VC: A true opponent! They are really hard to play against especially against a strigoi.

Wood elves: To annoying for my taste.

This should be titled How Man Armies can you Remember.

Beasts of Chaos ~~ I almost Started these guys as my main army. I have always loved Ogres and Giant-kin since there was no Ogre Kingdoms I was torn between beastmen and Orcs and Goblins. Never had to face them in battle though

Bretonnians ~~ Really Boring to play against. I can imagine Really boring to play as well. It looks like these guys took all the fun out of moving fast.

Chaos Dwarfs ~~ Ugly little buggers with an Earth Shaker. But funny to watch them play against reg dwarfs becuase there is no close combat for 3 turns before all the stunties finally collide

Dark Elves ~~ I love my Dark Elves and playing them has made me a better general.

Dogs Of War ~~ I have a piece meal DOW List made out of Dwar fand Empire Models. Not enough core to field it and I don't care. But adding DoW heavy cav to my Dwarfs really makes people mad. Also I bought Golgfag's Mercaneries Right Away for my O&G army. And Lumpin Croops Halflings for my Empire Army.

Dwarfs ~~ To heck with all of you. I have a Dwarf army, and its a Gunline for the most part. I made it back when everyone was going Wizard heavy in Slaneesh armies. I shut them off. In the end It usually Loses, Draws or Marginally Wins... a Dwarf army rarely controls Board quarters, A Dwarf Army rarely captures standards. My 3 Units of Infantry usually get weighed down and overwhelmed by swarms of crap and then my gunline is silenced by fast cav/skirmishers/scouts and flyers. Not hard to beat... Just hard for ELVES to beat.

Empire ~~ Honestly My Druchii, Dwarf and Empire Armies were all originally My ex- Wifes... She couldnt stick to one army.. Shoulda Got a Clue. I love the Empire... Rich History, Good character and troop selection and the range of models improves more and more. You can field an all cavalry army if you want with Heavy Cav for a core choice.

Hordes of Chaos ~~ The Power Gamers army... When This book came out back in 6th edition suddenly everywhere I looked was Slaneesh, Khorne and nurgle... Never met a Tzeentch player. Love the mix with Beasts and demons and men ability though

Lizardmen ~~ I have faced them once... but on my dwarfs so their magic phase was shut off except for a couple iresistable forces. The Slann is a Pita though with a lot of crazy Rules... My HE playing friend got so frustrated at the SLann one night he said that the Slann took the BRB and Wiped his Arse with it. The Lizard player is now adding a stained book bit to the backside of his Slaan

Ogres ~~ Faced many Lead belchers hired by many opponents, they are nasty. I played a 500 Pt warband of Ogres with my Dwarfs and Halflings. 4 Halflings took out 2 Lead Belchers and a Man Eater.. these guys give Weak vs shooting a new name.

Orcs & Goblins ~~ I haven't played mine since 7th ed came out... possibly longer. But at heart I truly am an Orc. Maybe one of the most wiley and cunning orcs ever but still an Orc.

Tomb Kings ~~ Never Fought Against them, never read their Army book. I bet they are super nasty and fewer people play them becuase they are just boring to paint

Vampire Counts ~~ I always liked the look of this army and with the new models comming out especially the corpse cart I am tempted to start one. As an Opponent they can be quite nasty.. all that fear and the auto breaks...

Wood Elves ~~ never faced them but Im gonna get a taste soon since one of our local guys is building a WE army.

I'll have a crack too:

Beasts of Chaos - I like the beasts, they have some good models and I still have some from 4th Edition when Chaos was just one list....

Brettonians - Have to say, I thought they were absolute hypocrites when they came out with praying to cripple enemy missile attacks and then see armies full of peasant bowmen!!! I do like the knights though and painting minis in full heraldry - have to say it is an amazing sight

Chaos Dwarfs - it may be a bit of a gimmick to just have bad dwarfs, but the Persian feel was pretty cool - bring back the children of Hashut!!!

Dark Elves - my first fantasy army, the biggest and still my favourite - 'nuff said.

High Elves - hated them as soon as they got a new army book (5th ed?) with 3 ranks of spears fighting - completely robbed the Druchii of anything that was unique. And please, enough with the High Magic and love hearts...

Wood Elves - never had much to do with them.

Dwarfs - Never beaten them, so joined them - my "good guys" army.

Empire - They are getting better but I cannot back an army full of men in fluffy shirts, balloon pants and cod-pieces...

Hordes of Chaos - as per the Beasts.

Lizardmen - Another one I don't know much about.

Ogres - Haven't played them.

O&G - got a heap of these, Orks are my main 40K army so I had to get the fantasy version too - love the goblin-heaviness in fantasy compared to the Gretchin in 40K.

Tomb Kings - Like the background.

Vampire Counts - I am a vampire fan so love this army, prefer skellies over zombies and ghouls - much more a "dry" undead than "wet" undead fan, but you can't have everything - interested to see what the new army will be like....

U
DOW - I like that they let you customise and make up a rag-tag army that you can theme for areas that don't have an army book (e.g. celtic) - as long as you're not interested in playing in a GW event where no other minis are allowed...

Beasts of Chaos - I like how you can use their rules for your own ____men armies, like catmen,i like cats.

Brettonians - They are an intresting army to play against and fluff.

Chaos Dwarfs -Love their gizmos but nothing else.

Dark Elves - Great models, fluff and rules Huzzah!

High Elves - Pansey gits but their dragons are cool.

Wood Elves - Tieing for first place favouite army. The best models and rules like and i like most of their fluff.

Dwarfs - Amusing and have wonderful inventions.

Empire - Urgh models. But i like their inventors guild.

Hordes of Chaos - Wonderful models and fun to play against.

Lizardmen -I like their fluff and models.

Ogres -An amusing army.

O&G - I like playing them for their randomness.

Tomb Kings - Bones more Bones do i have to say more?

Vampire Counts -I combined them with dark elves for models fluff and rules ultimate combination.I love them as well as DE and WE.

DOW:Wonderful additions, hotpots FTW!.Nearly as much freedom as VC.

Skaven:Sticky goey disgusting but they have nice gizmos.

I do love to rant.

Beasts of Chaos - Very diverese and such interesting fluff, i was going ot collect them but the idea of painting that much fur and moving all those skirmisher models is quite daunting

Brettonia - Reminds me too much like a cross between the French and King Arthur, also a cavalry heavy army is my least favourite playing style

Chaos Dwarfs - I would like to use thier Obsidian blade but they're too outdated by now

Dark Elves - The very first White Dwarf i picked up featured the new Dark Elves and i was instantyl hooked, thye're just so unique. The elaborate yet grim armour, the fluff, the minis, whats not too like?

High Elves - Arrogant self-proclaiming throne stealing bastards, they're recent rulebook is juts a futile attempt to make them a more worthy challenge to our surperiority

Wood Elves - Same reason as the Beasts of Chaos, except hey're models and fluuf are alot better

Dwarves - my kind of playing style, massed ranks of infantry but they lack the speed and elegance i look for in elves

Empire - Too german/english for my tastes, lovely models and nice rules but the steam tank just makes me shake my head

Hordes of Chaos - They lack the missile fire i need but otherwise a great army, the cult of slaanesh army list was a fine blend of two great armies

Lizardmen - Fighting them would be dauting but a rcae of aztec lizardsmliving in the jungle guarding golden temples just seems so old-hat to me

Orges - the very meaning of brute force, a great selection of models and rules but small numbers is a problem, at least they can be used as DoW

O&G - I like the fluff and but i'm not really find of orcs or goblins, too barbaric, too unrefined but great models

Tomb kings - Too egyptian for my tastes and undead mummies has been done before

Vampire counts - Lovely fluff and a very interesting army, my friend collects them and he always proves to be an interesting opponent. Love to see what changes are in store for them

DoW - An interseting blend of rules but hey need to be updated drmatically as well as have thier model range redone

Skaven - Cowardly vermin, i learned to immediatly dislike for no real reason other than my frind loves to speak Skaven around us, too much eek-eek for my tastes

Beasts of Chaos: I think they're cool, really cool. But I never got around making an army of them really, sadly.
Bretonnia: I've got some of 'em, a bit boring to play though, and I dislike the circus-style army :P
Dark Elves: Clearly the best army around :D Was my first army and also the army I collect now, though I've painted quite a lot of other models in between. Begun with a normal army, painted approx 1000 pts Cult of Pleasure for storm of chaos and now I'm painting khainites again, in a new colour scheme. I probably have a bit over 2000 points, but sadly in different colour schemes. I usually win with these, but I almost only play two different friends, so more opponents wouldn't go amiss, even though I can almost only play smaller games..
Dogs of War: Meh, I don't know. I dislike the idea of them really, as an army that is.
Dwarves: I love the stories and the dwarven character, but I dislike their playing style :(
Empire: Quite cool, my main opponent plays an infantry heavy empire horde. Not very effective sadly, but cool :)
High Elves: Dislike them. I haven't got a problem with their rules, only their obvious lack of respect for the Master Race (dark elves that is). Played vs the new rules twice and won both times, both at 1200 points though.
Hordes of Chaos: Really cool, I like chaos. Again, never gotten around making an army, sadly. I like the idea of a tribe of evil northmen worshipping a demi-god daemonprince :)
Lizardmen: Quite cool, I dislike the fluff, that they pretty much only fight in Lustria. Makes for uninteresting settings for the battles :p
Ogre Kingdoms: A cool army, I've seriously considered making an army of them. Never got around collecting these guys either :p
Orcs and Goblins: Don't really like them, haven't played against them very much.
Skaven: Ah, the vile ratmen! I really like them! Got almost 2k ratmen I think, and none of it is jezzails or warplightning cannon.
Tomb Kings: Cool fluff, but I dislike their sort of defending role, barely going outside Khemri.
Vampire Counts: Quite cool, but never liked their models. They are getting better now, but I dislike how they seem to have sloped the bloodlines :(
Wood Elves: A great army, I am seriously considering collecting these. Would be light on the trees though, I prefer the elves. Great models and quite nice fluff, the defending role could be worked around I guess :)

Beast of Chaos: Never really played with or against them but I like the whole Ambush idea.

Brettonnia: Kind of boring, though I would definitely name each individual knight if I went for them.

Chaos Dwarfs: Little ugly things that I never got to see because I started Warhammer when the 6th Ed. came out.

Druchii: Solid models, versatile, tactically challanging, and best of all evil. Okay chaos is evil too, but the difference is that in chaos you are corrupted into being evil. Dark Elves are born evil, totally more badass.

Dogs of War: Could be fun but an entire Mercenary army is kind of a hard concept to grasp.

Dwarves: I despise Dwarfs. These stupid stunties sit back and do nothing and somehow GW decides well since their fluff obviously sucks so much they need better stats than they already have. I hate Dwarfs (with a passion)

Empire: Empire are actually kind of cool for a "good guy" army. I just don't like the idea of being a human in a fantasy game, kind of boring IMO.

High Elves: New models look kind of cool but their fluff sucks and they just got ASF which takes the cake for cheapest rule in the game. Still I suppose without them the Druchii wouldn't be as much fun.

Hordes of Chaos: I was kind of disappointed by these. Great fluff and I like everything about them except I tried building a Daemon army that I found out ended up sucking royally. Okay I may eventually go back if I can get some Mortal models but they kind of pissed me off.

Lizard Men: Like this army a lot, It's so versatile and the fluff is really cool. I was debating between these and DEs for a long time. I may pick them up someday.

Ogre Kindoms: Cool new army that I like a lot great idea by GW to make a completly different new army like this.

Orcs and Goblins: My first army and I will always like them. Always a fun game when gobbos are around. I was really lucky with the fanatics and the rock lobba as I recall. Orcs were really good for thier points too.

Skaven: Played them for a while liked them enough but they didn't really fit me.

Tomb Kings: You can't watch the movie "The Mummy" and tell me that they aren't cool. I've only played against them a few times but they're pretty interesting.

Vampire Counts:I like dark and creepy and am definitely thinking about getting some of these when the new book comes out.

Wood Elves: Little wimpy cowards who make their trees do all the work. Dryads are way too good but they do have some cool models.

Beast of Chaos - Chaos Beast, nothing more, smelly, stupid and only usefull as slaves in mines nothing more... need to be herded by beastmasters or won;t be productive...

Bretonian- Just humans, multi uses as slaves in mines farms , factories and good sacrifice material. They screm nicely when buthered and give good blood to cauldron for our hags.

Chaos Dwarves - small smelly and ugly stunted folk, strong and tough slaves, they need to be broken first but torteurers and slavemasters of naggaroth know their job well. Once broken they are good workers as blacksmiths and miners.

Dogs of War - mainly humans and some dwarves , some ogres see the description of matching races.

Dwarvers - another ugly folk breed. They are just more stupid and stubborn. Much work is needed to broke them. Sometimes it is futile so
in many cases only usefull as sacrifice material or cold one food.Once broken they make good weaponsmiths and miners.

Empire- humans, as bretonian ones good material for slaves and sacrifice.

High Elves - our misguided traitorous kin. Perfect slaves and sacrifice materials. The only fitting end for them is they being slaughter in the name of Malekith and Khaine. Ulthuan will be ours again and then Asur will pay the price of their trason.

Hordes of Chaos - chaos scum pumped with energy by their primitive goods. They succumb to chaos and mindlessly follow it. They are strong and make good slaves in mines and such. To much mutated althrough must be obliterated.

Orcs and Goblins - Orcs strong good slaves, but rather stupid. Need to be seperated because they tend to cause turmoil and have rather irritating disadvantage because they feel little pain. No fun torturing them. Goblins are diffrend and make up for this. Scared easly pathetic weaklings.

Lizardmen - just puny lizards from south. They have some shiny valubles they are worth taking but no point raiding them regullary. No good slaves. Tough to broke in case of saurus and to weak to be usefull in case of skinks. Good practice material through and usefull for sacrificing. Their skin also make good bags.

Ogre Kingdoms - Big lumbering and stupid brutes. Exellend strong labourers through they eat to much , need to be guarded carefully because they tend to eat other slaves.

Skaven - disgusting vermin, can be enslaved like humans and work as good but they smell badly and many carry dieasese. But they make fine food for ogre slaves, hydras and cold ones.

Tomb kings and Vampire counts.- no use for them. Cannot be broken. Don't feel pain. No fun at all.

Wood Elves - primitive kin. They make good slaves as High Elves are.

Dark Elves - True Master Race and masters of the world. Soon they take it from lesser races and will rule forevermore.

Beast of Chaos: Fun army to play against and allows a variety of tactics so games are not repetetive.

Brettonnia: Boring, they just move and charge move and charge

Chaos Dwarfs: Never played

Druchii: Obviously the best

Dogs of War: Never played

Dwarves: As long as they are not a gun line they are a very fun army to play against slow but darn tough.

Empire: Humans, Jack of all trades masters of none though steamtanks and waralters are a pain.

High Elves: Not played the new ones but some of their options should belong to us (sorry the dragon at <2k was our thing (well manticore but yeah)

Hordes of Chaos: Mortals are great fun to play, haven't played any demoic lists or lists will all three though

Lizard Men: Fun solid army that is characterful, though I did hate them as they where what I learned to play and warriors do not like saurus (almost made me stop playing the game till I learned how to beat them).

Ogre Kindoms: Same as above -Saurus

Orcs and Goblins: Great fun to play against and it leaves you happy when you where outnumbered so badly and they are all gone.

Skaven: Warplock Engineers are my least favorite thing in the game, freaking cheap freaking deadly. I hate skaven UTTERLY, this is because one of my friends plays them and we cant beat him (loosing 2-3 units a turn to warplightning) The army as a whole has two many different cool units and special advantages Cannons LOS, Slaven dont cause panic etc, then the cheapest foot blocks in the game that can hold up to ours at half the cost.

Tomb Kings: Awesome fun interesting and very different army to play against

Vampire Counts: Love playing against them and can't wait for the new book. Plans to be my second army though I dislike the new models because they are so cool but will not fit my theme :(

Wood Elves: Another army that I dislike facing but overall a fun very pretty army.
