Right, the BTs task should be fairly straighfoward. Use his flying movement to chose the combats he wants to be in, or just act a psychological aspect messing with my opponent abit. Dark insanity is a true gem and RUTHLESS with immortal fury. Armour is nice as well, 3+ as and 5+ ward with t6 is not bad.

Heralds both go with the plaguebearers. Tough, big and costly unit. So basically making it hard to earn VPs for the opponent. The ranked blocks do what they do, provide static CR and thanks to the BSB are going to be quite hard to get rid of(especially the plaguebearer block). You gotta love the skull totem, priceless during mid and end game. Sort of an "icon of rakaph light" heh.

Fresh hounds are quite capable of being where they should be and deter my opponent from rash moves. The flamers share a similiar purpose, creating kill zones forcing my opponent to be more careful with softer targets.

Furies are doing their thing. Flying around hunting isolated targets/war machines.

Also have another version of the list which simply exchange 5 flesh hounds and slime trail on one of the heralds and adds ;
+ 1 flesh hound to the other flesh hound unit
+ 4 screamers
+ 2 bloodletters

So got any ideas on improving the list? Comments?

Cheers

Why bother giving both heralds Slime Trail and Noxious Vapours if they are in the same unit? While one might die, it seems a waste of points to double up just in case.

Good point, one more plaguebearer might just be better spent points.

or instead of an extra plaguebearer, another fury would serve you well. This way you can still lose 1 and be able to cut down fleeing enemies. Plus, I've just noticed that furies work best in units of 6-7

A bit off topic, but do Daemon BsB's only cost 25pts? Or is that just a typo?

25 points for the BSB upgrade is standard, to my knowledge the only army whose BSB doesn't cost 25 points is the wood elves, who only pay 15 points for the upgrade (but lose the 10 point long bow so it somewhat evens out)

Do you really want dark insanity on your BT? I think you will find that 7 S6 attacks with rerolled misses is sufficient and you never want to gt stuck with rolling less than your 7.

You roll dark insanity at the start of every combat not every turn of combat so when you throw that three you will be stuck with it the entire combat and that is the way to get the big guy killed.
