Oppinion of the most powerful
So nearly all of the races have got their own form of power house, no matter whether naturally you have the durability or paper or stone, whether you naturally can fight, cast magic or do none of those things, but which one is the best? (at least in your oppinion)
From what I understand so far from stories the ones that can be included:
Malekith
Archaon
Nagash
Sigmar
Teclis
Caledor
Aenarion
Those are the only ones I can think of now, I only left Tyrion out because he kind of got beaten up by a slaaneshi daemon and well all of the others can pretty much click their fingers and those die so... (which Teclis pretty much did)
I'm just curious as to what people think and what people would say or add.

Re: Oppinion of the most powerful
I think it's a bit unfair to put Caledor and Aenarion on this list.
Caledor would technically snuff any one person out of this list with a snap of his fingers. Except perhaps Aenarion but that depends on whether sword of khaine has been drawn yet or not.

And Morathi. It says if malekith is slain she has enough power to destroy the world. I don't think it says that about anyone else. I could be wrong though...
Re: Oppinion of the most powerful
Malekith may be a bad mamma-jamma in the fluff, but on the table he'll get whomped by most any other special character. Helebron is the nasty one in the DE book. 7-10 S10 attacks with rerolls to hit and to wound (S10 nearly always wounds on 2+) means a whole lot of pain.
Of course, if she fails to kill her target on the first go, she'll die to return attacks since she has no saves whatsoever...

Re: Oppinion of the most powerful
Yeah but you say that But Aenarion just had skill and awesome magical items I'd wager that Malekith is more powerful because he knows magic on top of being an insane warrior with a magic item that in technicality can null the sword of khaine though I would heavily doubt that on top of being immortal, and being warped by black magic.
And you say that about Caledor but remember Nagash shook the very planet by using his magic and invented untold numbers of lores of magic.

Don't forget Drachenfels
The "big bad's" of Warhammer have been Sigmar, the Chaos Gods, the Greater Daemons and Daemon Princes of the Chaos Gods, the lesser Chaos Gods and their most powerful minions, the Old Ones, Drachenfels, the Slann, Aenarion, Caledor, Malekith, Teclis & Tyrion (counting as one entity), Orion and Ariel, Nagash, the Horned Rat, the Council of 13, the oldest vampires, the EverChosen, and so on and on as the fluff has been developed and retconned and redeveloped...
Basically any Black Library novelist or GW games developer can put a new spin on who is the "most badass" (or create a whole new character) to suit whatever dramatic ends they are wanting to achieve.
As for in-game power we can compare their stats. Apparently White Dwarf did a 'pit of death' series of fights of all major characters vs each other...and at the end of the day the winner was always a Bloodthirster

Wow TD, I remember that, that would have been about 15 years ago... Unless they have re done it again.

Poor bloodthirsters have been a bit of a kicked dog ever since frenzy stopped doubling attacks.

Think it is actually older than that, I remember the roleplay supplement from the 80's

I remember the third edition Bloodthirster:
M WS BS S T W I A Ld
7 10 10 7 7 10 10 10 10 (other stats now gone: 10)
He wielded a Daemon Axe of Khorne containing ...another Bloodthirster.
So you could:
1) Attack with the Daemon Weapon (any successful wounds = auto-kill)
OR
2) Spawn another Bloodthirster on the field (both now with mundane weapons)
...and wait for it:
Daemonic -> so could only be hurt by magic and magic weapons.
..and yes he (they) had frenzy, so 20 attacks.
(We truly can't complain about the game being broken anymore )
