Tau drones

Just a quick question regarding tau drones.

Do they take up a spot in a transport? by reading the codex I would say no, but somehow that doesnt seem right.

Anyone got any idea´s?

They are a model in the unit, therefore they count towards the number of models in the unit entering the tank. So 10 fire warriors and 2 drones could not enter a tank with a capacity of 10, but 8 fire warriors and 2 drones could.

How stupid does I feel right now, its says quite clearly under the transport option that drones count..(lesson learned, dont post questions while sick and tired)
