OCC: After posts like this I’ll try my best to hold the standard.

IC: It seemed like the elf had understood what he meant as she had ceased attacking him. She also started singing in a weird elfish way, which sounded peaceful enough to him. Not that he would trust her or turn his back on her, but he couldn’t really see either of them gaining anything from this fight.

To stress his peace offer and bring him out of immediate danger should she decide to catch him unaware he walked a few meters backwards, smiling at her, and then he turnes around to the other contestants.

The draft seemed to have gone down and the giant rat now facing the bulky orc ran away pretty quickly. This was not really what he wanted though; he had no interest in them coming to him just after he had ended this fight. The rat would probably die to the orc but that would mean one contestant less and maybe the mutant could even scratch the orc. Well or at least give him a stomach ark.

Taking his bow again he’ll aim for the mutant rat in order to keep that thing in a combat with the orc. He hasn’t forgotten about the elf though.

OOC - Thanks Calisson, your input is always welcome, it does add to the atmosphere!

Also there is no stance called 'Weary' the stances are: Neutral, Offensive, Defensive, Cautious, Focused and Evasive.

IC -

Now seeing the hunched form of the skaven that lingered behind the dwarf, Aks let out a savage warcry and lifted his massive axe for another heavy blow. This time he wanted to come down vertically and split the ratman in half, the scent of blood had reached his nostrills and all he now wanted was violence. It was not to be however, and as he brought his huge weapon down with force enough to shake the arena floor, Sniksin made a lightning fast escape right through his legs. Aks growled angrily, barely noticing that as he missed the skaven his axe had actually just pulverised what remained of the Rustys' face and sent it splattering across those nearby in the crowd. Druchii called and cheered, some leaning out of their seats to shake loose chunks of dawi brains that had landed in their laps.

Sniksin could barely beleive his luck, running out from behind the orc with a chittering laugh on his lips. He cast his small red eyes around fearfully, taking note of the other fighters in the arena and their positions. The dwarf seemed to be pretty dead now, but the human and elf had stopped fighting and were looking his way. Manfred lifted his longbow and took aim at the skaven, careful not to stop watching his newfound ally in case she should revert back to the earlier tactic of trying to chop his head off. He let loose an arrow which flew straight and true, but bounced off the skavens' heavy chestplate with a dull clank. The Druchii above roared in laughter, shouting at the human that he should kill the high elf beside him. Sniksin turned and barred his teeth at Manfred, still keeping an eye on the confused form of Aks angrily stomping about to his right. Carmendum watched the human make a fool of himself with his bow, deciding that he probably was not about to stab her in the back afterall.

The human appeared to understand well enough, though from the confusion in his eyes Carmendum suspected that her Reikspiel was more than a little rusty.

The other little Rusty in the pit did not look likely to rise again, seeing as his brain had been crushed into a nutritious paste, leaving the diminutive rat man blinking up at a huge hulking green monstrosity; Carmendum could not help but giggle as the skaven scampered between the ork's legs.

Not being in combat herself Carmendum could only shake her head in wonder as the human decided that the main threat was the skaven, gods alone knew how they had all but monopolised three continents if they considered a five foot fury blighter more dangerous than a seven foot block of muscle and aggression.

She herself had no desire to come to blows with the ork any sooner than she had to, and if the beast had three or four arrows poking out of the top of his skull by the time it reached her all the better, though given the human's strange behaviour that hardly seemed likely.

None the less he was the only ally the elf had and perhaps together they might make it through, of course then one would have to kill the other, but fifty fifty was a good deal better than four to one. With that in mind Carmendum took up a defensive stance, a couple of meters to the left and slightly behind the human, there to wait for the inevitable.

Carmendum will take up a position about two meters to the left of Manfred and slightly behind him ready to counter attack any move made against the human or defend herself from any attack-stance-cautious

Sniksin recovered his feet with the speed and agility that would have rivaled the elf. Seeing the Orcs back towards him he felt it would be a tempting target, however, the armour he wore seemed to be rather thick, not a prospect that Sniksin would enjoy trying to get through. Glancing at the pairing on the other side of the arena the rat-man's eyes widened in fear as he saw the human drawing an arrow back on his bow string and aiming it at him instead of the Orc!!! The elf on the other hand was using the human as cover, a tactic Sniksin found to be rather his style!

Sniksin moves rapidly away from the Orc, putting a good few metres between the two of them, keeping his eyes on the human ready to throw himself out of the way if need be or take the arrow on his shield.

A cursory glance back at the Orc showed the Dwarf to be dead, his skull caved in by the mistimed stroke of the Orc that had nearly split the skaven in twain. He hissed in frustration that he had not been the one to kill the bearded one but knew he was lucky to be alive at the very best!

Sniksin, after moving away from the Orc to a safer distance, adopts a defensive stance to protect himself from the Longbow shot aimed his way, ready to pounce forward and attack Manfred after he fires his shot, keeping the human inbetween himself and the elf. Stance: Defensive.

Manfred could barely believe it when his arrow glanced off the crude breastplate of the rat. With the rat having made its escape there was no sense in wasting anymore arrows on it as it didn’t pose any threat to him. The only reason he had attacked it in the first place was to give the orc something to focus on.

With the cowardly rat avoiding everybody and the cowardly elf crouching behind him he saw that he would have to deal with the orc sooner or later. The fatso’s first blood had impressively shown the danger he proposed and he’d rather kill him with the elf than having to fight against the beast alone afterwards. He was however not going to make himself a target for the orc either.

Stepping on one level with the elf he drew his bow again, this time aiming for the hard to miss orc. He’ll attempt to hit his arms to take at least a bit of his strength and accuracy. Then he’ll darw his long sword to await the charge.
He knew that this would lead to the orc consequently charging him, but this way the orc would be in the middle of the fighters who all wanted to see him dead.

Quick as a flash the rat man jumped through Aks' legs. But Aks had no time to stop his heavy swing and it ended up crunching into the prone shortling's face, ending his pit fighting career rather permanently and spraying gore on Aks' face and muscular chest. The axe was fairly well lodged in the shortling's head and only came free after some amount of effort, spilling blood and brains on the arena floor. Turning around with a shout Aks briefly looked at his enemies, the human and elf were not fighting, they were waiting for him with their weapons drawn A challenge!, and the little (OOC:damn you Drainial for using 'blighter' before I got the chance, such a good word) ratman was scampering away from him.

He wouldn't get away that easily. Aks was used to things of all sizes running away from him, everyone know that he split skulls. Maybe the gore dripping from his axe and body was scaring the little rodent.

Aks begins his loping pursuit of the fleet footed ratman. If he reaches the ratman Aks will hack him apart from behind. If he gets distracted (read: hit by an arrow) he will immediately go batsh't crazy at whoever hit him. And if he arrives late at the melee he'll just join in, attacking whoever is closest with a massive grin on his face

OOC: argh death by 'if'. I know it's all pretty general but Aks is more of an instinct fighter than a tactician.

OOC - Please remember to post profiles at the head of replies, it makes my life a lot easier when rolling against your actions.

IC -

The druchii crowds cheered and laughed as the scene below continued to unfold, bets and wagers being placed with every passing second of the so called game. Sniksin was running away from Aks, who stomped about for a second to gain his bearings before taking off in hot pursuit. At the same time as this, Carmendum took up a defensive position slightly behind her new ally, only for Manfred to step back level with her and aim another bow shot, this time at the orc. The brute was large and hard to miss, but he was running headlong across the arena after the fleet footed skaven, making him slightly harder to hit. His shot flew true however, all his years as a ranger proving themselves once again.

Manfred looked on and waited for a result, but was dissapointed to see his arrow stick into the orcs muscular green arm without harm nor effect. Aks stopped dead in his tracks, looked down at the wooden shaft of the arrow now stuck in his arm, and then turned to glare at the human with the bow. Manfred felt a pang of fear as the orcs beastial red eyes locked onto him, but in the face of so many onlookers he held fast and stood his ground. Sniksin scuttled away towards the edge of the arena, dodging the stones hurled his way by the crowd and ignoring their shouts of cowardice. Carmendum watched the scene unfold without a word, the orc now stomping over towards her human ally who hastily swapped his longbow for a sword.

Aks bellowed a savage cry as he redirected his charge against the human and nearby elf, bringing his mighty weapon up above his shoulder ready to smash the first thing he reached into the ground. Much to his dismay, both of the warriors before him held their ground, and rather than running down a fleeing foe as he had expected he found himself in combat once again. He brought his axe down hard, aiming to crush the human into the sandy floor, but the nimble warrior stepped to the side and avoided the blow. As one, Manfred and Carmendum came forwards on either side of the orc and slashed at him with their blades.

Manfred had a good hand but Aks did not take kindly to missing his target, and the orc shouldered Manfred aside as he made his strike. The humans sword went wide, but this gave Carmendum the oppertunity to lash out at the beast from behind. Her aim was true, but she underestimated just how thick orc hide could be, and her blade left little more than a harmless surface wound. Aks grunted angrily and span back around, ready to attack whichever one of the small things crowded about him he next desired. Manfred, stumbling away from the orc and gritting his teeth in frustration, had all but forgotten about the skaven in the arena. Sniksin had approached the combat from the humans' blind side, now seeking revenge for the longbow shot fired his way earlier.

Sniksin lunged forwards, his rusty sword thrust out before him and finding its way into the back of Manfreds' light armour. The ranger cursed in pain as he felt the tip of the sword punch into the flesh above his hip, pulling himself off the weapon before any further damage could be caused. With the ratman now joining the central melee, the only four competitors left in the arena were now all part of one big fight. The druchii onlookers got to their feet, now shouting at those gladiators they had put money on, or baying for blood to flow. One way or another, the crowd was sure to get what it was asking for.

Carmendum (the singing one), F.
Elf - M5, WS7, BS4, S5, T3, A5
Great Sword, light armour, helmet, 2x short sword.
Blade master, Master of Strength

Damn Carmendum cursed silently as her great blade drew the merest trickle of blood First the human now this! Did these Druchii give me a rubber sword or something?!"

Things had gone more or less to plan, which was fine as far as it went except for the fact that the plan didn't seem to have worked. Sure the ork was now wedged between her and the ranger, but even so the brute seemed to be wining even without the snivelling rodent of a Girithion* entering on the side of the bestial races.

But there was no helping what had gone before, they could only hope to do better this time; unfortunately it seemed that the ork had turned its attention onto her, which was not what she wanted at all. It was all too clear that in a straight fight she would lose, so she wouldn't fight fairly; not strictly honourable perhaps but when in Naggaroth...

Mustering all the speed at her command Carmendum angled a slash down toward the Ork's legs, side stepping and aiming for the hamstring. Straining for every second the troubadour danced backward, away from whatever retaliatory attacks might come her way.

Carmendum will slash at Aks' leg with her great sword then try to avoid any retaliatory strikes by moving out of range-stance-evasive

Stabby stabby! Sniksin thought as he scuttled backwards a little, watching as the human pulled himself from the end of the blade. Time to kill him!! Sniksin kill, kill the man-thing! Things had gone exactly as Sniksin had hoped, managing to get round behind the human and driving his blade into his weak flesh while the Orc got distracted by another threat, causing him to forget about the little ratman, for a while at least. Seeing the human's blood on his blade was almost as sweet to the pathetic little creature as the scent of warpstone! Almost.

With the Orc occupying the elf's attention and the human still having his back to Sniksin he saw his opening. His whiskers twitching in anticipation of spilling the rich crimson blood of the human. He had been abandoned by his erstwhile ally as the pointy-ear retreated from the Orc and Sniksin would be as underhanded as he possibly could to bring down the human.

If man-thing no walk then man-thing no chase!!

Sniksin is going to move in and with an uncharacteristically aggressive move is going to make a horizontal slash at Manfred's legs, hoping to either hamstring him or sever the achillies tendon in his lower leg. Stance: Aggressive

God damn it!, he thought as he felt the blade slicing through the leather, skin and flesh of his shoulder. I’m gonna kill you son of ... filthy rat!, he shouted in brooding anger. He knew that this had only happened because he had been distracted and let the scum come up behind him, where even a blind goblin could have hit him. He had to give it to the rat though, it was fast, but still in a normal one on one combat he’d be no problem.

However this was not a normal or honourable fight. And what worried him even more than the little nuisance was the big fat orc behind him. Actually, I could just use this to my advantage..., he realized.

Eyes on the rat he’ll attempt to step around and bring it between him and the fatso. In attempt to bring the orc to attack the skaven he will then swing at the back of the orc to get his attention.

OOC: Damn you exam period.

Name: Aks (m) Orc
Stats: M4, WS7, BS3, S7, T5, A3
Gear: Great Axe, Mace, Heavy Armour, Helmet

Aks tried with all his orcish will, but the little rat was definately faster than him. Out of nowhere a thick shaft of wood appeared in his arm. The human across the arena was putting away a bow, Aks is thick, but he can put one and one together (figuratively of course, maths isn't an orc's strong suit) and figure out who hit him. Aks looked at the pale skinned human and grinned a rotten toothed grin. But before he could kill the human he had to get the arrow out of his arm. A little trickle of blood and a flap of green skin came out with it. Aks threw the arrow at the crowd (I'm sure some happy little druchii boy or girl when home with a very nice souvinear) with a yell and began to charge at the human.

Aks thumped into the human to put it's swing out but unfortunately Aks' blow didn't land. Another attack from behind immediately stole all of his attention and he swung around the fight the culprit. Facing him was a slight elf with a big sword, well more like another big toothpick. Aks immediately knew that this elf thing would have the tastiest flesh in the world and he couldn't wait to have a bite. Forgetting the other two opponents, Aks lifts his weapon once more and bares his teeth in joy and aggression.

Aks will get as close as he can and swing his axe in a diagonal arc, aiming to smash through any defensive action by the elf and tear a good chunk out of her.

Stance: offensive

OOC: Sorry for any spelling errors (I'm not 100% on souvinear) I'm dead tired and plead exam-induced insanity.

Manfred cursed at the little ratman, deciding that rather than retaliate himself he would move out of the way and try to lure the Orc into attacking the Skaven. He darted to one side and lashed out at the Aks, just as the greenskin turned to attack Carmendum. His blade met with the beasts thick hide but did nothing to wound him, and he seemed to have failed to draw the brutes attention as well. Aks was focusing on Carmendum, and Manfred once again found himself assailed by the loathsome ratman. Sniksin darted forwards and lashed out at his leg in a bid to sever his hamstring and leave him immobile. The Skavens' blade went wide however, passing dangerously close to Manfreds' groin but fortunately for him not connecting with his flesh. Sniksin chittered angrily and barred his teeth at the human.

Beside them, Carmendum made a heavy downward slash at the muscular green leg before her. The elf put as much focus and power into the strike as possible, she was all too aware of Aks turning to retaliate and was already planning to hop back out of his strike range. Her sword slammed into the Orcs' knee with agile precision, ripping through the heavy plated armour there and slicing through the tendons underneath. Aks roared out angrily, barely feeling the pain of the wound but enraged at seeing his black blood splurt out onto the sandy floor. Carmendum was already retreating a few steps, but Aks lunged forwards and brought his axe up in a diagonal swing, intent on ripping a chunk of flesh right out of her chest. His leg buckled beneath him as he advanced on her however, the tendons that had been severed not holding out under his tremendous weight. Aks snarled angrily as he crashed to one knee before the singing elf.

Seeing the agile Elf land such a devastating blow on the Orc, the crowd momentarily forgot their hatred for Asur kind and cheered her on.

Carmendum (the singing one), F.
Elf - M5, WS7, BS4, S5, T3, A5
Great Sword, light armour, helmet, 2x short sword.
Blade master, Master of Strength

Smiling grimly as her blow finally made some kind of lasting impression on the ork Carmendum dashed back into the fray, the human would just have to deal with his fury problem.

The bard was somewhat less confident about her ability to 'just deal with' the ork, despite the wound she had just inflicted he was still several hundred pounds heavier, far stronger and more heavily armoured. She had also not forgotten her own wound, which would have been difficult with the arrow still jutting from her flesh.

Still she could but try; there was really little other choice, so once more into the breach in the hope that the dead did not pile too high. Hefting her great sword once more Carmendum leapt forwards with all of her agility and grace, bringing the long blade up in a silver arch slashing up at the ork's face, before dancing back once more.

Carmendum will leap in, slash up with her great sword at Aks' face then try to jump back again, remaining out of reach as best she can-stance-evasive.

Sniksin backpeddled quickly to move out of range of the man-things sword after his own attack failed. Not only that but he was now stuck between the man-thing and the greenskin!! Not somewhere a Skaven wants to be. The Horned Rat was looking over Sniksin though as the greenskin seemed to hardly notice the attack by the human, so determined he was to rend the pointy-ear limb from limb.

Man-thing clever, man-thing know fight. Sniksin know fight too, but Sniksin no fight like man-thing fight. Sniksin must fight as he can, fast, fast, fast!! Too fast for man-thing.

Sniksin is going to use his pace and natural agility to unsettle Manfred, taking a running leap and aiming to pass as close to his face as possible making a backhanded slash with his sword as he goes though more as a feint than an actual attack. To the Skaven this seems like the last thing the man-thing would expect, the idea of a 5 foot tall rat leaping at your face would cause most warriors to take a moments pause!.

The elf's long blade darted in like a jungle snake, and tore a gash open in Aks' leg. Aks roared and stepped forward to unleash his axe on the she-elf, but his leg gave way and he crashed onto the sandy floor of the arena. Aks howled in frustration at the elf.

The wound was slowly oozing blood onto the the stand. Aks was used to cut and wounds and the like. But usually he had the rest of his boys to distract the enemy enough for Aks to recover. No time. Aks had to move fast to kill the elf and then deal with the other two. The axe was too heavy to comfortably wield with a damaged leg. Aks was much stronger than the elf and his big axe would have to be abandoned momentarily, he can just pick it up later.

Aks will drop his axe on the ground and used his good leg to leap at the elf and grab it and kill it. He will get in as close as he can, and hopefully be able to grab onto a limb and bite into the pale flesh.

OOC - Manfred did not post this turn, First Warning.

IC -

The crowd of Druchii spectators applauded as Aks pushed himself back to his feet, ignoring the deep wound in this leg and casually tossing his huge weapon to one side. The singing elf had hurt him, and he was now fully intent on making her pay for that mistake. Carmendum was not without a plan of attack of her own however, and she danced forwards once more with her large weapon slashing upwards. Without his hefty axe slowing him down the Orc was faster, and he reached out to grab Carmendums arm with his huge green hands. He grabbed hold of the fragile elf and pulled her upwards, almost yanking her off her feet. Aks sunk his long tusk like teeth into the soft white flesh of Carmendums' arm, causing red Ulthuan blood to splatter across his face and the crowd to cheer ever louder. Carmendum made her upwards slash in retaliation, but dangling in Aks' grip as she was her aim was off and her sword went wide.

Behind them, Manfred seemed to pause for a moment and consider the extent of his injury. This was all the chance that Sniksin needed to make another attack, and the Skaven suddenly darted forwards and sprang into the air. The ratman came straight at Manfreds face, slashing out at him as he tried to escape from his precarious position between the Human and the Orc. His rusty blade smashed into the side of Manfreds helmet, causing the man to stumble backwards but unfortunately for Sniksin not doing any sort of lasting damage. The quick moving Skaven sprang past Manfred and put a safe distance between them, before turning back to face him once again. Their fight was not over yet, both warriors still pumped full of adrenaline and ready to fight until the other was left as a cold and lifeless corpse on the arena sands.

Adrenaline rushes through Aks' veins and he let out a snarl as he got to he feet. Aks was able to grab the elf's arm and bite into the elf. The taste of hot red blood filled Aks' mouth and caused his battlelust to take over completely. Evrerything else faded out completely, leaving only the base instinct to fight. The raw meat spread that exotic metallic taste of blood through Aks' whole mouth. Aks was at the height of his orkish primal nature. Physically tearing up prey.

Aks tightens his grip and crush the elf and roars in the face of the elf. The battle overwhelming his mind.

Aks will tighten his grip on the elf and thrash around violently, like a predatory animal, biting against with his vicious teeth.

Name: Manfred Tell (m) Human
Stats: M5, WS4, BS5, S6, T4, A4
Equipment: Long Bow, Long Sword, Light Amour, Helmet
Abilities: Master Archer, Master of Speed

Something about the image of a giant rat leaping in his face seemed not completely right to Manfred. Why do I think that he would be very tasty with lemon juice and a bit of cinnamon right now?
Am I turning crazy?
You are talking to a voice in your head that seems pretty crazy to me, a voice in his head answered.
You got a point there I guess, I heard being tortured can lead to such a thing.
Silence.
His thoughts began to stroll back to the problem at hand. It was the same as before, the rat somewhere behind him, and his only “ally”, only that they both looked a bit less like people and were going the rout towards simply being strips of bloody dead flesh, was about to be killed by a giant orc, who looked like he could really use a diet, well maybe a good grave would do as well.
Hmm we should do something about that huh?, the voice deep within him whispered, I mean wouldn’t you much preferred not to die here?
So should I walk the way of carnage and betray or of righteousness and self sacrifice?, he sthought struggeling with his conscience, What did my daddy always say?
Come to the dark side we’ve got cookies?, the voice in his mind asked.
That might do anyways.
The orc seemed pretty content with eating his breakfast elf, the rat had fled directly away from the back of the orc, so what to do?

How about putting some iron in his sandwich, that would be healthy, his madden mind suggested.

He liked the idea. Breaking out in an insane laughter, he ran behind the elve’s back. Taking careful aim he will attempt to stab the orc into the face, if aiming for his eye with his long sword. If possible he’ll avoid hitting the elf, but he is ready to sacrifice her for his greater heal good, his survival.

Carmendum (the singing one), F.
Elf - M5, WS7, BS4, S5, T3, A5
Great Sword, light armour, helmet, 2x short sword.
Blade master, Master of Strength

Things had gone from bad to worse, kept on through terrible and now languished in the blood flecked seas of OH MY GOD! Which was a good deal more coherent than Carmendum's own thoughts as orkish tusks ripped open her delicate skin and tore off a ragged chunk of flesh.

There was no singing now, not even in her mind which was almost unheard of for any bard; there was little room for anything other than pain, anger and violence. With a half garbled silent prayer to Khaine Carmendum took her great sword in a two handed grip once more. There was little room to swing the blade with the ork so close and moving closer seeking to crush the breath from her lungs and splinter every one of her brittle bones. Instead with a horrible scream of pain, fear and rage Carmendum poured all of her agony, hate and despair into a thrust at the great sweating brute's broad chest.

Carmendum will thrust at Aks' chst as he moves closer in to grab and crush her.
Moding a group of Druchii.net players is much like directing the musical 'Cats' using actual cats. Frustrating, difficult, chaotic but ultimatley satisfying and a great deal of fun.

Name: Sniksin Quickpaw
Stats: M6, WS4, BS3, S4, T4, A6
Equipment: Short Sword, Spear, Short Bow, Light Armour, Helmet, Small Shield
Abilities: Sneaky Git, He who runs away...

Sniksin landed nimbly on his paws and skittered a few steps as his momentum carried him beyond his landing. He turned quickly expecting the man-thing to be at his back, instead he saw the human standing, giggling to himself and looking a little glazed before meandering off to stand behind the elf! Foolish man-thing. The pointy-ear was as good as dead anyway with the greenskin chomping on her like a rat-ogre on its handler after one too many jabs in the back.

If Sniksin sneaky, Sniksin can attack big greenskin!! Bigger threat, Sniksin no kill on his own!! Sneaky time...

The man-thing should not be too much trouble if Sniksin is sneaky about it, and the pointy-ear is as good as dead even if the Orc fails to kill her now a wound like that would bleed heavily for a while yet. Yes, the Orc is the troublesome target, he is the one that needs to die now that he has fulfilled his purpose of wounding the elf and distracting the man.

Sniksin moves around behind the Orc, sheathing his sword and pulling his spear from his back. Wielding it in both hands he takes a run up to thrust the spear with more force into the weak joint in the armour at the back of the Orc's one fully functioning knee before jumping back out of the way just in case!

The roaring of the Druchii crowd boiled into a hateful crescendo, "kill! Kill! Kill! KILL!"

Aks was only to happy to oblige. He lifted Carmendum in his powerful grip, barely registering the human moving in behind her and the skaven nimbly scuttling around behind him. He had tasted elf flesh, and he wanted to taste it again. His eyes were glazed over with the red mist, his nostrils flaring as the scent of blood met his nose. Bellowing in orcish ecstasy, he tugged the elf closer and made to bite and shake her. Carmendum was not about to go down without a fight however, especially not in front of so many of her hated Druchii cousins. Calling on the reserves of her strength, she grabbed the hilt of her blade with both hands and thrust it down at Aks' green chest. It seemed to be too little to late though, and her long blade glanced off the orcs armoured chest just as he lifted her towards his huge white tusks. Aks bit down hard on Carmendums' arm and began to shake her about like a ragdoll, growling in savage pride as her arm was torn right out of its socket.

Carmendums' arm still hanging from his jaws, Aks grabbed her still breathing body in one hand and used his other huge fist to crush her head. The Druchii crowd went wild, screaming the Orcs' name and jumping up and down in their seats. The orc turned and hurled the broken and bloodied body of the high elf into the nearest stands, watching with grim satisfaction as the Druchii teenagers there continued to systematically rip the corpse apart. So fixed up in watching this bloody scene was the Orc, that he forgot momentarily about the other competitors in the arena. Manfred side stepped around the elvish arm as it fell limp from Aks' mouth and plunged his longsword into the Orcs' green gut. Aks' armour was no match for the presicion of the rangers strike, and black blood splattered outwards from the wound the human opened up in his chest. Sniksin took this moment as his opperunity to strike the brutish greenskin on the back of the knee, but just as he lunged in and made his blow the Orc recoiled from the humans' attack. Moving his leg, the Orc suddenly became harder to hit, and the skavens' attack went wide yet again.

The Druchii onlookers were still roaring their bloody applause, spreading Carmendums' intestines in a long line and holding them up triumphantly.

OOC - Kudos to Manfred - 6 to hit, 6 to wound and Aks' armour save rolled a 1!

Players -
Aks: 1DP
Carmendum: Dead
Manfred: 2DP
Sniksin: 3DP

OOC: (obviously as the only thing I could say in character would be "Arrgghh!") Aks was already on 2DP from the one time my great sword behaved like a great sword (I still blame those trixsy elves for fobbing me off with a butter blade), so he should now be on 1DP.

IC: ”Arrgghh!”

Amended. Shame to see your character die but you rolled a 1 on your attack and only a 2 on your return armour save! Thanks for your time.

It happens, frequently as Gilvalyar and Khalvar can't attest to ( also being dead). Still, always look on the bright side of death, even as you draw your terminal breath (whistling). :D

OOC-major kudos to Drainial for some absolutely outstanding posts!! Might have to find a way of bringing Carmendum into one of my DnD campaigns (though while still breathing obviously!!)
