@RS: Welcome

@MG: My apologies.I've already started a post but it wasn finished by the time I had to leave so I saved it on my HD. I'm still not home yet and it seems to me Ignat is at a pretty important place for the story, which is why I want to make a decent post.

Ah, Kensou, glad to see you're still alive ;)

Well, once you and RagingSerenity have posted I will post up the next mod post. I hope to get it done tonight, but I can wait until tomorrow if the two of you need more time.

I know I'm quite open minded about stuff, but damn that sorceres was creepy oO

I was trying for spirited, not creepy, still good to know it was appreciated.

You're latest RP post is very short, Kensou, do you think you could elaborate and expand on it? Maybe add a paragraph or two?

Smiler, seems Valeth isn't havin the greatest time of it, eh? Things might get better for him... If the dice decide to be nice?

I'm away in Glasgow this weekend. I'll see if I can get a post Ian during lunch but it all depends in how long clinic runs tomorrow.

The way I see it Valeth has killed or has been part of killing 3 guardsmen and a horde of rats (I'm counting them) and in return has a small cut in his hood. So far the population of everrain are the ones having a bad time

Also you forgot the fancy red in that post, how else are we supposed to know you're the bossman?

EDIT: Also, I'm not quite wrapping my head around the way to the city hall: It was directly ahead of Valeth when the rats appeared, now he's turned left and the city hall is directly ahead of him again? Or did I miss something?

That's what I like to see. I hope you guys can keep posting this quickly.

The city hall is in that general direction and the spire can be seen from both streets and most of the city. Valeth is arguing a lost cause against that Sarge btw.

Will get the mod post done tomorrow as I'm really busy today.

Didn't forget, just posting from my phone, like now, is very awkward

Alrighty peeps ;)

Mod post is up!

Just to clarify a bit on the confusing directions. The centre of Everain is basically a massive circular courtyard, most of the main roads of the city lead to it. The city hall is at the top of the circle, and three other important buildings are at the sides and the bottom. What those buildings are, though, who knows? Any suggestions?

I'm thinking: a bank, the city council building and... something else, lol

Oh, and I've edited my last two post to make 'em red. Hope you're happy now, Smiler :P

y'know what Jc was saying about getting bonuses to the modding dice if they repeatedly screw you over? Yeah I think we should bring that in :)

Also, a helmet? A DAMN HELMET?! Real men don't wear helmets, they look their enemy in the eye while they poke the other one out

Very happy bossman, you are now suitably Khaine-like

I'll think about it

May I point out that Taldein wears a helmet?

Damn. Maybe I should've chose another colour... Pink, perhaps. I am not a fan of Khainites, I play a strictly non-Khainite DE army and most of my characters (Nathra and Kayla especially) think Khaine is a ridiculous God :P

No offence meant to Jc, but Taldein is already overcompensating for something with that bigass sword :P

I'm not a fan of khainites in armies either, mostly because of the complete nonsensicalness of a rule which suggests that well-trained, disciplined elites might kill a general riding a dragon for shiggles.

I love khainites in armies. My army's paint scheme was themed off the malus darkblade novel where he went to har Ganeth and most folk were wearing white robes that gradually got soaked in gore. Think the backstory to the units are awesome. Unf, my army is 3000 miles away at home so I've hardly had the chance to play it.

While Ignat does not think Khaine is a ridiculous god, he does believe druchii to be above him. Or all other gods for that matter. Quite the arrogance :)

I like a Khainite styled army for synergy reasons. I also am playing around with non-Khainite armies for the same reason. I mostly just play what I feel like.

Question: How could Ignat investigate if he doesn't know where the presence is?

Good question... Um, did I mention I was extremely hungover when I wrote that mod-post?

Just use your imagination, I guess

Kensou, thank you for posting in a timely manner :)

You other two, what's the hold up?

I don't mind (too much) if you can't post or take ages to post just so long as you let me know, preferably in advance, not a week after the mod post... I have considered closing the group recently as it's not working in a fashion that I am pleased with.

My latest mod post was not fantastic, I'm aware of that and I don't think I'll be writing another when I'm hungover. Fortunately, I am very rarely hungover these days!

Sorry kiddo, was in theatre all week so didn't have a comp readily available (pc is still down, hope 3000 rpm can sort it out). Made a wee post there on the iPad.

Kiddo? You might, um, never, ever want to call me that again

A two-minute summary of your post is much preferable to you not posting at all. Even on an I-pad that shouldn't be too difficult ;)

I did say at the beginning that I would like to get a mod-post done every three days, and if you couldn't post at least once every three days then this wouldn't be the RP for you.

About my situation: Could you specify how far the zombies are in relation to each other?

by Minigrift
Sure, I can try!

Was trying to leave it ambiguous for you to use your imagination. They can either be hiding in the alleyways or 'appear' out of the shadowy apparition - or both!

However, since you asked they'll be grouped together, two on one side of the road and three on the other side - still 8 or 9 metres from where Ignat is stood so he does have a bit of time to cast a spell or get himself prepared before they reach him.

Hope that helps 8)

We have a new member of the G39, I asked him to introduce himself, but when do you guys ever listen to me? :P

Please do your utmost to welcome Khalrthi to the group!

I would like to get the next mod post done no later than Thursday evening, so all of you, please try and get your posts up for then.

Khalrthi, Kulrik is a little 'behind' the rest of the group, would be up for speeding things along a bit if I were to do a couple of 'Mini mod posts' for you?

JC, this could be an important event for Taldein so your participation would be appreciated.

My post is up.

I got a bit creative and figured something that Ignat could probably pull of during a heavy rainstorm.

Hope it was to your liking MG.

@Khairthi: Welcome to G39 :)
