Hello, as you complained in overhaul thread about not having any reactions, I make my first post here. I really like your second version of fluff. And I voted for it.
Correction: Just to be clear, I mean the one with "rumours of a fourth breed of elves - a grim race, ruthless and sadistic".

I was wondering aobut that. Maybe sea elves were counted?

No, but Shadows of Nagarythe are counted separately.

We've agreed to leave it as is until the rules are closer to done. We'll be finishing it all off after the rules are done.
