ok im slightly upset about not having any tanks in warhammer online for dark elfs, however I have not played the game as yet so I would like to now if we are going to get our black guard any time soon, and if its worth me playing if i like tanks?
Any input would be nice and would go a long way for me to play the game.

Mythic said that they were going to introduce the classes which they left out about 4 months into the game.

Two things:
For the time being, a well played and supported Disciple can temp the roll as tank. He's not as good as a dedicated tank, but the best second choice, and I have on several occasions done just that with my Disciple, in PQ's.

Of course that's because Dark Elf and Empire PQs in Tier 1 have their difficulty level temporarily lowered due to lack of tanks.

So if I pick up a coppy of the game I wont be dissapointed for long.
Thanks it rilly bothered me that they took the most sacred class from our game. So the fact that the black guard are comming soon is a good moral boost.
I also want to appoligize for puting the post it in the wrong room it was my first time and I haven't ever tryed this tipe of thing before.

Get the game, play around, and then when the new classes are released you'll be in good shape. There is a fair bit of team tactics involved, so knowing your way around the game will help.
EDIT: It also bears mentioning that 4 of the 6 races lack one type of character. Dwarves lack DPS, for instance. So it's not just us.
