Hello, my name is George. I am 40ish, and I have just purchased a fairly large 2nd hand DE army, from a fellow gamer. I never thought that I would have a DE army, but the fact that this army was fairly old school, I had to purchase it. Basically it is 90% Marauder/GW models from about 1995. The rest are current models. This purchase is what brought me to your part of the internet. I am already a member on CDO, WargamerAU, Bugman's Brewery and Warhammer-Empire.com, so from those websites, you can probably deduce that I have a Chaos Dwarf (Big Hats) army, an Empire Army, and a Dwarf Army and that I live in Australia. I would say, that I am more of a hobbiest, than a gamer, and I really like my lead, especially the late 80s and early 90s stuff. The stuff that is really chunky, and heavy. Truth be told, I have no idea about the Dark Elves, but luckily the army I purchased had an army book with it, so I plan on doing some reading. I am also looking at at re-painting this army, so hopefully you guys will see an army diary/plog on these forums. But first I need a colour scheme. Moding a group of Druchii.net players is much like directing the musical 'Cats' using actual cats. Frustrating, difficult, chaotic but ultimatley satisfying and a great deal of fun.

Thanks for reminding me of a past so long ago G.2! When I was reading your intro paragraph, it was like I was reading a 19th century GW catalog...geez...maybe I should switch to VC since my past is so remembered!

Anyway, welcome to the boards!

As a P.S. Do you play Chaos Dwarves or just collect models and paint them?
