Hello from the Land of Ire! (That's Ireland, but the Land of Ire totally sounds like somewhere a Druchii would want to end up.) I've been a 40k player for about a decade (playing Imperial Guard) and my gaming group have long threatened to make the jump to WHFB but 2014 is finally the year. I have a passing knowledge of Fantasy's system and rules but it's one or possibly two editions out of date, so got a lend of the rulebook off my mate to brush up. He's doing an Asur army which I'll be sure to bring as much misery to as possible!
As I said, my gaming group are getting into Fantasy with a 'Tale of' with the goal of each having 2,500pts completed by year's end (2014 that is). Thus far it's just lists and some in-character banter.
I also notice that just below me is a fellow Irishman embarking on a dark path, maybe we're not the fun-loving folk we're always made out to be...
So yeah, sorry for the ramble, but this is the introductions forum after all. Looking forward to getting to know some of you, checking out the forums and, most of all, bringing the fight to the hated Asur. Nagarythe shall rise again!

Savash, that reminds me with Scáthach, Cú Chulainn's trainer. Good inspiration.
