What became of Albion?

Post by Eolelfslayer »

Hello all,
another tread in this forum, one about trading outposts and ports, got me wondering: what about Albion?
As many of u will remember dark elves, with the then really underpowered "T3" army book, won the campaign, and got some interesting (and many non interesting) items as a reward. These have long disappeared by now, but Albion has not. It's still featured in maps, it's still called Albion.
So, what did the DE make out of it? Their victory was not crushing enough to warrant full occupation/colonization of the place, but i suppose ports and castles have been built. Anyone has more accurate news? Thanks in advance, cheers!

Hello,
did some research myself, and in an old white dwarf i found some comments on the campaign aftermath. I cant scan, but looks like someone was so kind to post (some of) it : http://redelf.narod.ru/w6/albion/a_finalchapter.html
So, we have a colony in the nortwest, a city founded by anchored black arks and some surrounding territory. Sounds cool, and a nice fluff opportunity to exploit!
Cheers

Yeah, that's cool. I can't understand the Cyrillic alphabet but have bookmarked the bilingual English-Russian 'Albion' section. As the founder of this site would probably say, "spasibo"!

Thank you for finding and expanding this - I still have the campaign booklet that came in the WD at the time (let me know if you want rules etc).

I like the idea of an Albion expansion campaign! :D

So do I, but it's handy having it online as well - in case my hardcopy ever gets damaged/destoryed...
