Just got an email from Black Library showing off artwork for covers of upcoming titles. The Darkblade one is particularly sexy. You can find them here http://www.blacklibrary.com/new-at-bl/a ... gandf.html.

C L Werner is the one taking over. I did like Mike Lee's style, although he did seem to run out of adjectives after a while, but I've enjoyed C L Werner's stuff too. The Red Duke in particular was ace, and the only Warhammer vampire book I've cared for, being a bit of a vampire fiction snob.

As long as its not a new onibus or a image for the audio book I'll be fine. While both sound really cool, I want to see what happens after he gets his soul back, his city back, and revenge on his remaining siblings, and does the Land of Chill have enough bottle of Wine?

He is definitely mentioned in the First book (Nagash). If I recall, being part of the force sent north to deal with the incursion, will have to have another read to check.

Super news - thanks for sharing. Not the best written fiction on earth, but fun and easy to read and it's nice colour for the Druchii world. It's hard to imagine how society might function from the army book alone!

I met Mike Lee at Games Day when he was signing copies of the first omnibus of Darkblade. He reckoned there's room for another 5 novels worth of material from the second graphic novel and the same again from the third.

Let's hope this still rings true with Mr Werner
