I was wondering if anyone here could help me out on this one.
Aside what we can field in the warhammer fantasy army books what wildlife call Naggaroth home?
be it bird bat or wolf what belong there?

Well, what source could there be besides army books?
Possibly warhammer roleplaying book?

I just want to know what animals/ monsters can be found aside:

Ravens?
Black Dragon
Cold Ones
Hydra?
Khrybdis
Manticore
Harpy
Sea Drake
Dark Pegasi
Dark Steed
Magma Dragon
& Medusa

there must have been other mentions, but atm i don't recall em if i stumbled over them.

There is lots of forest land so it probably has similar creatures to other forests.

Assuming you are talking about pre-Age of Sigmar, it might be helpful to know what you need the information for? The proximity to the chaos wastes gives you quite a lot of license to just dump down what you want there, but it depends on what you need.

What I'm generally seeking is any animals swimming, flying or running around the lands of naggaroth, I don't mind knowledge about additional monsters either, but got that front quite covered.

In general the reasoning is i'm making a Druchii inspired Druid for a roleplay game i intend to play, and consider using the creatures of naggaroth as the shapes he can take with wildshape.

atm I see the following options:


Raven - Pest Shape + Soaring Shape(Looked to be the bird on the old banners back in Ulthuan)
Bear - Animal Form Bear
wildcat - Animal Form Cat
Black Dragon - Dragon Form
Avatar of Khaine - Fire Elemental or Fiery Body
Cold One - Primal form either a Raptor or T-Rex
Hydra?
Khrybdis? - maybe flavored as the purple worm statline
Manticore? - maybe falvored using the phoenix statline
Harpy? - Bat form
Sea Drake - Sea Serpent
Dark Pegasi? Pteranodon as the baseline
Dark Steed? prob ably just summon it with Phantom Steed
Magma Dragon? - Kaiju


The main one I need atm is a list of smal animals living there to fit the following:
"You transform into a the battle form of a Tiny animal, such as a cat, insect, lizard, or rat. You can decide the specific type of animal (such as a rat or praying mantis), but this has no effect on the form's Size or statistics. While in this form, you gain the animal trait."
Will likely go Lizard, but knowing they generally don't like cold areas I was hoping for some alternative suggestions

The Malus books had a Wyvern, boars, and either giant or gigantic spiders.
THere were mentions of mammoth hunts in most fluff sections of the books when the DE lay claim to the land. I can suspect other megafauna as well.

In Mordheim a Dark Elves warband can take a Cold One Beasthound as a member. There was no model for it and it is not shown in images, but with the fluff text and its stats, you can pretty much imagine what it could look like.
