After greenstuff dries.........

Post by Double-edge »

how does it feel? is it hard, sturdy like the model itself? or is is fragile. because i was thinking of using some for weapons, etc. and i dont want it to break off if i hold the model by the sword or spear made out of greenstuff.

should be o.k. as long as you dont make it to thin, i use it for cloaks and it works fine. it dries to a hard feel.

Yeah, be careful about having really small/thin areas because those could potentially break off very easily. I've used it on bases, to create mushrooms and rocks, to add on to my Fenbeast, to give Tau cords (to wrap the ta'lisserra knives with), to bulk up stuff, to redefine stuff, to fill in gaps. You should be fine but just keep an eye out on the thickness of the green stuff.

The GW stuff is blue and yellow, when you mix it together it comes out green... I imagine the blue and white stuff is the same but it probably comes out light blue.
Then, upon the velvet sinking, I betook myself to linking
Fancy unto fancy, thinking what this ominous bird of yore --
What this grim, ungainly, ghastly, gaunt and ominous bird of yore
Meant in croaking "Nevermore."

The original GW stuff was blue and yellow so when it was combined it turned green. GW coined the term, "green stuff" and have used that ever since. The new stuff is blue and white but is supposedly the same stuff. GW and most other people call that green stuff as well. I'm not sure what color it turns when mushed together but I believe GW did talk about it in their Mailbox section of WD 3 or 5 months ago when they first initiated the change.
