How do u remove those gaps between the heads and the bodies?

I tried to do it with a glue (Houtlijm for the dutch), but it worked only a bit, not perfect. Should I try it with green stuff :?:

I find that the paint can cover it up quite well, but if I wasn't lazy I would green stuff the holes. It would be quite easy as far as Green Stuff modelling goes.
Then, upon the velvet sinking, I betook myself to linking
Fancy unto fancy, thinking what this ominous bird of yore --
What this grim, ungainly, ghastly, gaunt and ominous bird of yore
Meant in croaking "Nevermore."

Ok, one thing is for sure, houtlijm will NOT do the trick. You'll have noticed that it creeps away in the gap (been there, done that :( ).

Green Stuff is prohibited in Belgium (dunno why) so I'm having doubts about the Netherlands. I use plain modelling putty (blue stuff or white stuff).
Ironically, as the name doesn't suggest this stuff isn't good for sculpting and modelling but it is great to fill up your gaps. Just keep the tool you're applying it with wet and it should work ok.

Mom or girlfriend/spouse walking around the house? Use this stuff outside as it'll smell bad.

I've been a fan of green stuff for awhile. It is great for filling in those gaps but truth be told, I'd imagine any clay or puddy would work. Just need something that is pliable, that can get into the empty spaces, fill them, and be smoothed to fit into the contours of the model.

The reason why Green Stuff is banned in Beguim , could be for the same reason that it took a number of years to be allowed sold in Australia .
The reason in Aus was health reasons.
It been reported that can cause kin irritations . And with prlonged use can cause nenerve damage. This infromation was given to by a GW store manager in Sydney. Ithought ypou would be interreasted in this information. I wish I could see what iam typing.

I wonder how many people had to suffer before someone figured out it was the greenstuff causing the problem? That's why we test things out on animals first...

Interesting. I've never had a problem with green stuff but I do wear latex gloves. I used to work in a pharmacy so I bought a few boxes of gloves. I wear them when handling comics, CCGs, old books (I got one from 1832), and when I do painting and modelling. I also wear a respirator when I do spray painting. It's the kind you wear if you work for the CDC or USAMRIID in like Level 2 or 3 biocontainment. Has HEPA filters and such. I have asthma and such so it helps protect me. I find the glove are great especially if you have to go out somewhere but wanna paint. Now you can go to the nice restaurant without having glue or paint on your hands.

Why? Does it smell really bad or something? :)

One thing I don't understand... banned in Belgium (probably for the skin irritations & nerve damage) but legal in America  ?

I always thought America was really uptight about all health-endangering products (exept for guns), and right they are!

Neway, don't wanna take the risk.
