I like the helmet and the straps for attaching the rxb but I'm not a huge fan of the colours you used, bright and strange colours are ok if you like it but I think you used too much differents colours here. Red - Yellow - Purple - Gold - Pinkish - Blue... that's a lot of colours but I'm waiting to see the result after dipping to pronounce my judgement ^^

They're great. Good job on sculpting the horse armour. It still amazes me how good your effort-result quality is. Outstanding.

I haven't bothered to post in this thread yet but have decided to poke in my praise. I think your bases look AWSOME and even the simple mathod you are using to paint them looks great once dipped and overall has a really nice feel to it. The colour scheme isnt me but I still congratulate you on a nice looking army that you should be proud of. :D

When I take a peep at your blog I always think you're crazy about colour choices. Individually your models are crazy but I'm pretty sure they look gorgeous as an army. One day I'd like to see some army shoots and some pics on the battle field, I'm sure they are amazing on a battle field.

As I told you before your gold (and metals in general) is very nice and warm.

Purple skin and, more important, purple steeds?
Do your elves live near a Soviet nuclear power plant?

Nice job on finishing the unit.
Your washes are amazing, I really like the work you did on the steeds of your Dark riders... To bad you WASTE your painting skill's by using such ugly colors :(

Easy now mate, each to their own - you know.
I'm not a huge fan of the colors, but the outcome is interesting to say the least.
The idea of fillers is quite nice, but not allowed in my local club tourneys. :(
I'm using mostly this technique that Lord_Azoth is using on my Skaven project that will be finished a few weeks after the release of the new book :)
I paint the model with single colors then wash with a thick dark brown lacquer.

As much as I love those gongs, I have to say again ; the dip just doesn't work on black, and not terribly well on the large areas of purple on your horses. The horses might have done better with a wash or two before the dip, the black we have discussed.

about large surfaces, I´ll try some washes over the pegasus of the srcerer before dipping..think you are right and it will improve the result

I've got to say they really shouldn't work......................but boy do they ever!

Interesting choice of colours and that makes them unique (unless there's more outlandish elved hiding out there)

The BG unit is great and love the gongs..... might steal that idea a I've got a gong-like disk which i've never been sure what to with.
Anything but a........ oh no!
