This IS something completely different. Bright, not GW and refreshing. I like the use of the off white and pure white. Though I'm not a fan of Warmaschine I like what you did to it. I think that th gold might need a bit more shading and highlights though. Well done, especially the gems.

I`ve never been a fan of the minis in the Warmachine range, but the paint job is exellent. I second MDK on the use of off white and pure white and the shading in the draperies on the cloak is ace. I do however think that a less muted or more pulpleish red yould make the mini more eye catching on the table top.

Thanks for the nice comments. I think giving the purple more of a red tint is probably the way to go. I'll see with the next model. Currently sculpting bases so will be a while before I get any more up.

Nice painting. Personally, I don't like the warmachine models aside from a few of the mercenaries, but nice paint job.
