Cold One Command

Post by Icon hack »

Hey, I was wondering how everyone handles the musician and standard bearer for your cold one knights, since there is only one command model.

I've put a back mounted banner in (ala 40k) for the standard bearer, but can't seem to find a good armored arm with a horn for the musician.

I just put the arms on regular Cold One Knights instead of using their lances...

Use your 'bits box' from other races, or beg/steal/borrow from your 'friends' with other armies. I'm sure someone will have an extra standard bearers arm/pole/banner laying around. I've used HE stardard bearers arm (w. green stuff), added a large plastic 'sheet' for banner - and that's the BSB. For my CoK-units (3) I've used the regular arm and the HE-arm with DE-plastic pennants flying back. So, they all look a little different - and painted them a little bit differently too, I mean each regiment.

For the SB you could use a regular CoK with a lance and attach a homemade banner to the lance, that's what I did and it looks really good ;)

Thanks for your feedback.

Shortly after posting this question, I discovered that the Cold One Command blister is supposed to come with all three arms (Sword, Standard & Horn), just like the DR command blister. For some reason, the first command blister that I got only had the sword arm, and I thought that's how they all were.
