cold one knight torso, but female

Post by Linda lobsta defenda »

ok now i got almost every part for my general, the arms, the legs, the cold one, the head, but no torso! dratt and double dratt!

so anyone got a good suggestion for a female torso that fitts on a cold one knight. ie armoured and dark elfish. seems like i can only find the one you get in the spearlelf box

You could try the Howling Banshee Aspect Warrior for 40K. That is a female and also looks elvish.

Why don't you use the cold one charioteer instead?
That's what I'm going to do with my Battle Standard Bearer: cut her legs and glue the torso on the legs of a CoKnight, then use Dread Knight's sword or a CoKnight lance for the right arm. Then I'll cut away her left hand and take away the whip and replace her hand with one from the High Elf Archer Box (the one with a finger pointing forward).
It should be good, don't you think? Yelling and pointing towards the enemy...
Otherwise you could keep her left arm as it is and glue a shield on it, depending on what you are goung to equip her with...

By the way... which parts are you going to use?

Hope this helped!

That's what she's asking for!!
(Linda is a "she" name, right? At least here in Italy it is...)

What about ohe Witch Elf Hag of the Cauldron? (lots of modelling!)
Or the body of a Slaanesh Daemonette? (Seems me they'll get some armour... at last on the GW website pictures...)

What do you think of my previous idea (my BSB)?

Auric: well that is what i wanted ideas for :)

Mike: yes I am one of them odd girls.

hmm the hag from the cauldron is pretty good. but to much work

the daemonettes.. armoured?? where? looks cloesly oh yeah might be something around the crotch.. no that is cloth.

your BSB sounds good :) post pics when it is done :)

though i found the model i am gonna use in my first try the beastmasteress (?) with the spear. can always paint the cloth to look like armour and the shield will cover a lot too

Executioner torso's with a bit of modelling make an easy conversion to stick on the CO rider's legs. You might need to add some stuff to make it look more leader like, but the conversion is pretty easy.

How about using the female warrior torso that comes in the Dark elf reg. box? Simple, quick and looks good(hey! plate armour, with protrusions  ) Or try the dark eldar plastic warriors female torso? Or how about a (severed)maiden guard, works for me :D ?
Cheers..

well after much fiddling sawing, pinning testing adn general cursing lol the answer is simple:

the plastic female torso and a green stuff cloak turned out to be best. it looks a bit skinny but hmm well it has to do.

mmm. If you want to create a scary female general, you'd want the torso to look the part...I'd check out some of the Dark Eldar range, there are quite a few female bitz in there...especially Lelith Hesperax (not sure how to spell that) I think she'd make an awesome female general.....check it out!

problem with the dark eldar range is that many of the females are shall we say not armoured. they are practically wearing a metal bikini!

You could use green stuff to make armor on the models with metal bikinis, but I think he was referring to the female Dark Eldar Warrior model.

I have 2 female conversions as hag queens riding dark pegasus. I used the chaos special character Dechala torso for both. It's good looking armor, cut the lower serpent body off at the waist. Lower torso/legs are bretonnian hero on pegasus for one and "The Green Knight" legs for the other.
