Executioners banner + unit

Post by Praetorian1979 »

I know the models are not as good as they could be, I haven't learned to use highlights yet.

My mate asked if he could fiddle with the banner, I knew he had a pretty good freestyle, but I was amazed when I saw the results.

Due to the size of the pictures, I hope a url link is acceptable.

I hope to get a proper camera, taking pictures with the phone quality really isn't optimal.

Walk in the light and live not in fear. For We are brothers, our blood ligates us and holds us to our deeds.

Good stuff. Very clean.

You can put the photos directly in your post:

I do think that the purple would benefit from some highlighting.

yeah, I had done that to start with, then I noticed some of the pictures are easily 600kb large, and the rules did say 256kb, so I put it in a url to make it easier.

Really like the de-saturated tone of the basing; very nice compliment to the purple. The lighting in the photo of the unit is a little harsh, as you allude to, but - damn - it makes the blood effect on the swords look absolutely awesome.

They look great. I esoecially love the armour, the colours make it look different from most models I have seen and very menacing. Maybe it's because it feels quite dark and rather realistic? And I think these are the first models where I don't hate their helmets, so great job!

Even without Games Workshop, we will endure. Armies of the Unsupported Age, the models are out there.
