A day on I've finally pinned down what it reminds me of... it looks like the kind of thing you used to see in the hand painted scenes on the cover of White Dwarf or the army books, the vast, blurred, chaotic battle scenes with gargantuan war-machines looming over millions of swarming warriors.

I don't think I ever saw any of those but you made me think of pictures like these:

There was also another with the Empires Flagellants but I can't seem to find that one. I like that my model brings up images like the ones you mention, it gives an awesome imagine of a massive shrine surrounded by Witches

List of things that are large:

1. The solar system.
2. The sound made by a great blue whale's intestinal disgorge.
3. A sloth's after-dinner nap.
4. This.

Yikes!

Yes! They're exactly the kind of pictures I meant! You get a good lot of them in the old Tolkien encyclopedia too - it's the way they war machines seem to float like island gods on the huge, dense, ocean of warring men. Can't wait to see it painted. (Just wondering, did you consider using two Glottkin models in place of the trolls?)

I want a car like this! Truly, it's one of the greatest pieces I've seen in a long time! Very seamless work, which fits together in a great theme!

Dragging this back up from the past but I have an update to make!

I went for a bit of a drive after a game of 8th tonight after I received an email letting me know my Cauldron had been finished! Sorry about the wait for the update but I think it was worth it.

Pretty stoaked with how it has turned out, I had forgotten just how big it was! I'll get a photo of the crew on it once I get them all glued on.

I've went down the same route with my CoB, though I've used the metal eldar avatar.

Your version with the new CoB/Avatar is very impressive  8)
