Love the conversion. With EoT, wood/dark elf conversions are going to look even more enticing.

Level 10 wizard?! Putting Nagash to shame.

So, competition is over and I got some positive feedback from Ulthuan.net and Warseer. I'm pretty pleased with how the Avatar turned out considering this is my first attempt at pinning and greenstuff

Preparing the Project:
Image

Tyrion Box -- Malhandir, Tyrion's sword Sunfang

Wood Elf Wild Riders/Sisters of the Thorn Box -- Neckpiece (Sister), Helm (Wild Rider), Hair

Dark Elf Warrior Box (old version) -- part of a shield holding left arm used to reconstruct the left arm

Dark Eldar Talos/Cronos Box -- round piece used as Shield

Dark Elf Black Dragon Box -- shoulderpads cut from torso, backpiece of saddle uses Dragon saddle frontpiece

Rogue Trader Era Eldar Avatar -- Model legs, right arm, partial torso

Preparation I

Image
Planning the cuts.

Preparation II

Image
Planning the weapon swaps.

WIP I

Image
Drilling and Pinning

WIP II

Image

Greenstuff and Glueing
