Great to see some reponses! Although when I believe the stats today was the busiest day on Druchii.net ever? :O
Unfortunately, the arm is not so good looking as I hoped. It seems it is out of proportion, not a fitting hand.
I will likely cut off the whole arm and replace it with his initial Assassins Creed hand to make it well proportioned again.

Update on the WIP Spartans, we are slowly slowly getting there with the first unit. Currently, it is still Roman legionnaire style, but I have ordered capes so hopefully they fit and I can add some Spartan style to it.

I agree, I have yet to find out a simple and effective NMM painting scheme for the spear blades, but otherwise it is very similar to colouring drawings you do as a kid.
With a set of 5 or 10, you apply layer for layer, very satisfying job. I even think it has a similar effect as meditation, calming your body and soul. I always find when I paint 1 hour before I go to sleep, I sleep like a baby.
Looking forward to receive the capes, I hope they fit in current set up and I don't have to rebase the models. If they do, and I can create that classisc red scarlet look of the back of a Spartan phalanx, I would be intensely satisfied.
