Hello again - after never ending changes in 9th Age I've been dragged away from Fantasy by X-Wing for a while. Now the changes seem to calm down, so maybe I'll find the time to play again. Nevertheles I haven't stopped painting my Dark Elves - they will always remain my first and foremost army. So below is an update of what more I've managed to paint:

Fifth Medusa:

Some more Harpies:

An impressive blend of colours. Whow! Very nice!

Thank you, I'm glad you like them.
@Cultofkhaine: More is comming - currently I'm working on 12 Cold One Knights (raptors are almost done) and a Chariot. But it may take some time.

Beautiful work as always! You are indeed a master of blending colours. I really really like the 5th Medusa, might the be best of them all. Also looking forward to your raptors.

Thank you all for your comments, they are really motivating :)

@Shadowspite: that Medusa is from Bushido: The Game, here's the link to the original model: http://www.bushido-thegame.com/catalog/mizuki-ito

And, as you seem to like my Medusae, below is how the full unit of them would look like if the 9th Age team didn't change the rules and made them single model only... I still feel regret when I think about this, as it was both fluffy and fun to play.

Here are the promised pics of Chariot and the Knights. And yes, I'm aware of the fact that I paint very slowly, but raptors were terribly time consuiming:

In my bits there was a leftover statue of Khaine - it would be a shame to waste it so I've added a bit of dinamic to it by changing the position of it's hands and I've turned it for fun into an Avatar of Khaine. Maybe guys from The 9th Age project will write some rules for it one day (users were suggesting couple of times that they would like to see an incarnation of Khaine in their army). Anf if not, I'll have a cool filler for the units.

Woah - super nice work!

I know how you feel - it can take ages sometimes to paint those units - great effort.

I like the avatar of khaine as well - you could build it into a terrain piece and have an altar of khaine.

As always thank you for your comments and sorry for another long break from posting. This time I have a good excuse - I've gotten married :-) With all the preparations I had less time for painting and playing, so lately I've turned more to board games, as, usually, they are much faster than wargames. Also some of them are very cool and additionally have excellent miniatures for painting. One game, that I've got as a present from my wonderful wife, was truely inspirational for me - the Blood Rage. It's about Vikings fighting for the glory in the flames of unavoidable Ragnarok. I've finished first models of monsters that can be summoned in this game. Below are few pics. Maybe someday I'll make a diorama of Dark Elves fighting enraged Norsmen alongside those monsters.

Good news, the new Aelfs have most DE community arguing we get Medusa units again and 9th is open about it. So there is hope you can field them after all!

I think that being able to expand on demand is one of the strengths 9th Age could offer. I hope it works out!

Yes, thank you Lord Drakon - this is my hope aswell! :) I would really like to see the incorporation of Aelfs in 9th Age (the Morathi with demon wings looks sweet) and Medusae units (maybe even I could expand my unit with new models). Also the last model (only teased so far) of serpent-like form of (probably) Morathi could be and interesting addition.
