Pegmaster conversion.

Post by Mordrin Spiteblade »

Hi all, I've recently completed a Pegmaster conversion and wondered if anyone had any critiques or tips for future endevours. I managed to find an old 4th edition dark pegasus and bagged some dragon lord bits for the rider. I used part of the sea dragon cloak from the scourgerunner chariot beastmaster model.

Looks nice - a bit hard to see with the size of the images, any chance of something larger to look at?

I love that sea dragon cloak, must be one of my favourite dark elf bits.

Looks great, very impressive. I've also used that sea dragon cloak a bunch of times.

I think theses are better. Its my first stab at using green stuff on a big model, I had trouble making it look right on the wing and body joins but it looks better on the photos!

Thanks for the close-ups much better now we can see the details.

Have you thought about putting some edge highlights on the scales of the cloak?

Great job all round!

Dreadlord with Halberd, my favourite build. I got the High elf body off ebay which was part of another conversion initially but I stripped it down and added Black Guard arms, Shadow warrior head with dreadspear champ headdress and cut the black dragon neck plate for the pauldrons. I thinks theres bit of a nagarythian look about him and cannot wait to paint him!

Autarii Urhan, I used a shadow warrior body replacing the big gem with part of a cold one knight head dress. The rest of the parts are very recognisable I think!

Absolutely, I'll go back and do some more highlighting when I've plucked up the courage! I've literally just noticed I missed shading the little horn on the cloak!
