Cool stuff 8)

Is the "Grudge Buster" scratchbuilt? What is the story behind it? Is it mentioned in the official fluff?

The snow is just powder glued on. I had this thing for while, but searching the web it seems it's "Galeforce nine hobby scenics".

As for building this thing it took no time. I wanted to begin gentle, since it would be a first timer, but after cutting out the gate and gluing it to the foam one evening it sped up.
So roughly an evening to glue it together, cut out the bottom plate etc. Then waiting for it to spray and right onto highlighting and decorating the following day. There was also trial and error so real time I'd say about three days. Snow turned yellow from too much white glue in some places.. and a trip with the airplane had me making some repairs. Easy to make, in no time at all!

The grudge buster is sadly not scratchbuilt. I wish it was. It is... scratch..decorated! Heh. It is from Ramshackle games. The drill is all their work, I merely put shields and a tree on it, besides paint :)

Fluff..I don't know. Ninth Age has a flying chariot profile, and I have seen an explanation for it to be a profile for a more melee gyrobomber. It has impact hits and grinding attacks, such as a steam tank (though I don't know their compared strengths) and a little gun, so the model is really up to you. It's suggested somewhere as either zeppelin or tunneling machine.

Lovely model. It reminds me of the old 40k Squat Termite:

Very cool (and Dwarfy) idea 8)

I may be a little late to the party here, but what material did you use on the dwarf cave entrance to create the rocky surface of the mountain? I thought maybe some sort of tree bark but it looks quite thick for bark.

Excellent work all round though, love the kharibdyss, and it's taking a lot of effort to convince myself not to steal your dwarf colour scheme.

Never wrong with late! (as I always am in the monthly challenge)

The Mine/Cave is indeed treebark. Some of it is thick big pieces others less. The ground on the entrance is white birch, thin and brittle for instance. The other pieces are very sturdy.

Thanks a lot for the kind words :)

And please, steal-steal. And improve! So I can steal it back.

Still working on making enough dwarven terrain to set a table. Here is piece #2 in work. Idea is to make it some sort of outpost, a sort of upgrade to the mine entrance.

Finished imprinting lines with the pencil and set it out for spraying.

That's looks great, looking forward to seeing it progress further.

I have a couple of dwarf terrain pieces on the bucket list to make as well - got a corsair board to make first though.

I made a wizard!

A Dreadwood Druid to assist the dryads.

Light was a little dim, so I'll probably shoot some more pics. Also corrected a few things after pics. But, here she is!
I am particularly fond of the model looking from the back. As ungentlemanlike that is.

I like the ivy on her staff. Is that from the Army Painter Battlefields range?

Beautiful - I agree about the ivy really brings the model to life.

Some last minute additions do the trick - and spot on! Army painter poison ivy. Bought it so long ago. Finally used (a tiny bit)!

Worked on dwarves and they just never finish, but the brightly coloured leaves of autumn drew me back :D

Here's a witch elf unit champion. Or Hag. I used the Avatars of War "Manhunter".

The Manhunter is an awesome model. I've been thinking of getting one to lead my Slaaneshi marauders. How does she compare scale-wise to GW figs?

@shadowspite I think the Manhunter fits well with your classic GW's. I'll try and grab her for a group photo for you.

I was working on the base for my Gargantula for this month's challenge when I was sidetracked by this. A desire to have goblin chariots.

Did not like the models out there. And boom! What do you guys think? Paint half a moon on the wheels.. etc.

Really nice chariot. I would suggest adding some yarn or thin wire around and between the wood parts to make the model look more realistic. Other than that, it looks very "goblin" :)

Really cool conversion! I would go for dark chariot so that goblins on top really shine, nice idea of the moon wheels
