How odd! But perhaps not more odd than the tutorial, made upon request. Does it work now?

Works now.
Not that had the intention to use it any soon, but there was no reason that your series of tutorials would not be completed.

Holy Crap - we need a porn filter for our forum

I have been loving these tutorials even though this is my first comment - perhaps I'll stick these images under a spoiler for discerning eyes.

I still find it amusing how different cultures, and even different individuals within cultures, have such radically different 'red lines' on what parts of a human body are acceptable to show. Nobody objected to my bare-breasted Chaos marauder women (which, admittedly, nobody can see right now anyway, because Photobucket !mad! ), but a tutorial on sculpting male genitalia gets spoiler-blocked. If this was Ancient Greece (just as one example), the exact opposite would have been the case. Nobody would have considered for a moment that a phallus ought to be hidden from view, but female nipples would have been considered quite risque.

This is not a criticism of CultofKhaine's decision, BTW. My own first thought* on seeing this tutorial was, "Hmm, I wonder if this thread needs a NSFW tag?". I just find this sort of thing (the arbitrariness of cultural attitudes, to put it somewhat pretentiously) endlessly fascinating. It's interesting to me that CoK thought a spoiler-block appropriate, while it didn't seem to cross Calisson's mind. IIRC, CoK is American and Calisson French? If so, I guess that matches the cultural stereotypes. ;)

Also, because I cannot resist the obvious joke... Is CultofKhaine putting this tutorial behind a spoiler tag technically a CoK-block? :D

* - This is a blatant lie. My first thought was that using one's phallus to sculpt with would be really hard difficult. The bit about NSFW tags was definitely thought number 2.

Shadowspite - You have a very gifted way with words  Says me wiping the tears of laughter from my face.

Personally I do not not take offence - but hey - someone out there might - So I CoK-blocked it!

By the way I'm Australian not American 8)

I was thinking I might pin these tutorials when I get the chance - have not seen some good tutorials for a while and it would be good to have an index of them.

Hehe, spoiler is called for I reckon.

Only one single Swede has reacted nonplussed at the sight of a mate's Chaos Giant with sculpted family jewels. Everyone else at tournaments have just laughed or didn't care much about it. Some even praised the testicle sculpting. Remember this next time you enter IKEA!

Perhaps the tutorials should be merged in one thread if they are to be pinned? Don't want to permanently occupy a whole swathe of forum space on my own, and there will be more tutorials coming once I have time again. Or perhaps make one index thread with links to all sculpting tutorials put up here by me and others?
