Hulkster, we think alike :D

Picked up interest (again). I also want my main to be a burst DPS class but I was sad to hear the reports on Witch Elves say they're not impressive... the Choppa having been removed that pretty much only leaves the Marauder. Luckily, everyone seems to agree they rock

I like to have an alt support character and Disciples will likely be desperately sought after (if only to balance out the suspected number of Warrior Priests) so that one's set I guess

well I intended to have an order character and a destruction character at least.

do you know how many characters you can have on the go at once?

I did like the DoK, but I just want to concentrate on hurting people, I don't want people relying on me in a game lol.

Witch Elves not impressive? O.o it's the only class that can kill my archmage one on one reasonably well. I can tank anyone else :P
The amout of damage Witch Elf can dish out is simply scary.
Marauders are more of get in the thick of it and go berserk style
While Witch Elves pick off weak targets one by one.

I never argued the fact that their short-term DPS is the highest available. :D

But their real strength, I believe, comes from never actually having to 1v1 someone.

I've been in beta for over a year. The game is really good and will most certainly be great (when bg is finished).

I'll be in on day 1 of the headstart.

I'll be leading a druchii centered Host, the Archons of Malice, as a part of a larger guild, the White Flame. I'm looking for more quality druchii, especially maibd. Send me a pm if you want more info.

Well I am yet again rolling Destruction, friends seem to have found info that Order will be the 10yr old zerging grounds, so we are jumping to evil.

But with BG unavailable for now I cannot make my generals in game version.

Oh how I have longed to use Zardock Doombringer in its true context.

There will be 10yr old everywhere... just play what you want to play instead of playing something to evade them.

I'm also planing to play on a Open RVR server, and I read that some of you wanted to play on RP server so I guess I won't be seeing you.

I tried the game at the Games Convention in Leipzig some time ago and I wasn't impressed. I am sure this is going to be far better than WoW though, but I will not play it because I do not play computer all that much (far less than once a month and all I play are racing games...).

Quite the opposite in WAR actually, Destruction will severely outnumber Order on most realms so expect to find all the kids there. This is mostly because of the classes, for example imagine you are a 12 yr old - 'why roll good elves when i can roll evil spiky sexy elves!', 'those Black Orcs are so big and cool!', 'Chosen is awesome!!1', 'Squig hunters are funny lolol'. Can't really imagine them saying 'gosh, i've always wanted to be a dwarf runepriest'.

I expect Order to see its fair share of vets, quite possible more vets in terms of vet/overall population %. Hell, its probably where i will be (Shadow Warrior baby).

I expect to get ganked, allot. :P

Do not, and I repeat do *not* go to Open RvR servers unless they change the ruleset.

At this point you get chickened as soon as you go into any Tier of lower level than yours. What that means is that after you reach level 32, all, *all* previous content is locked away for you.

They are thinking up of a way to allow players to go back while still not being able to gank with impunity but I just don't see it happening. Chicken will be in.

WoW handled ganking best, by having the dishonor system if I remember correctly (its been a few years since I played).

Artificially restricting players is never the way to go, no matter how good the intentions...

WoW has no system for ganking, you can kill anywhere and anyhow in whatever fashion you feel like.

Recommended server:
Core RP
for those that don't like RP
Core.
It's how the game is designed to be played, Open RvR is kind of patched on version for people complaining they can't fight anywhere... where they still won't be able to except as chickens.
