Heya All,

I was thinking some of the other forums im part of (as an Assassin hiding out ofc) have a location part. Basically theres a topic for each major country eg UK,USA,France etc and then people input there location within the correct topic. This allows people to see whos near and maybe get games amongst one another and maybe some tournaments.

Can a moderator let me know what they think, or if there is one here currently?

While it is a nice idea, I think it probably wouldn't be all that worthwhile because in each area there are only a few dozen active members at best (mostly much less - for all of Australia, I know a grand total of a bout 5 forum members to live there), so there wouldn't be all that much activity... but lets see what others have to say.

Isn't that what the Location field of one's profile is for?

That is what the location field is for. But most people use it for some kind of lame Jape. I do, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

People have started similar threads before ; perhaps, because they were never "official" threads, they were never terribly successful. Perhaps people prefer not to give their location away to just anyone. The moderators will discuss this.
