Having seen the movie (it was awesome BTW) I don't recall any chariot action...

Just joking due to the fact that according to a review I read apparently the enemies are Dark Elves with a leader named Malekith

Yeah that's true. The funny part is that nobody knows which malekith came first, they both made an appearance around the same time.

I wonder if GW is planning a lawsuit against Disney.

Malekith the Marvel character first appeared in 1984, Malekith the Games Workshop Character didn't appear until the 90's. Dark Elves appeared in GW stuff prior to Marvel comics, but they're based on Norse Mythology so neither one was stealing from the other. The only thing people are confused about is where the name originates from... Walt Simonson (Marvel writer) said he made the name up by combing the latin Mal and the germanic kith 'cos he thought it sounded cool, basically. I'm not sure whether GW copied that, came up with it independently, or if they're actually both inspired by another source.
At the end of the day I don't think either company cares anyway, GW couldn't sue Disney for it, and I think Marvel's trademark lapsed a while back.
I really enjoyed that movie - I wasn't expecting it to be as funny as it was. I just went for the special effects and the villains, I wasn't expecting to be drawn in by the rest of it. Some really cool stuff in that film, and one of the few times I've felt justified seeing something in 3D. No one-wheeled chariot though
Started Warhammer with Dark Elves in 2002, stopped playing in 2005. Came back in 2013.

Re: Trailer for the new Thor movie
The film is very good - much better than the first one. And in this one Malekith gets burnt too .
