Came up with a cool idea for an army, think Saruman

So, I got two sets of island of blood for my high elves and have no clue what to do with the skaven. No one plays them in my area and I have no clue what to do. But than I had a cool thought to start a dark elf army lead by a sorceress and have her lead abominations of half elven- half skaven monsters. Do you think I could pull it off? And if so how could I without having it be skavens count as dark elves?

Really depends on whether you want to own, model, paint and game with such a force, or whether you would be better selling them for $$$ as eldar has suggested.
