RIP Terry Pratchett

Post by Amboadine »

A shame that one of the most prolific writers of fantasy has passed away.
I have enjoyed many of his books over the year and whilst expected, still I feel a loss to the comic fantasy genre.

Although expected, I still found the news sudden.

Incredible writer, and The Light Fantastic and The Colour of Magic, amongst others, are at the very pinnacle of the comic fantasy genre.

RIP.

Noooo i didnt know that yet...makes me really sad! By far my favorite writer! Raising steam is still standing untouched on my shelve Next to all pratchett s work.
Reading it wil not be as much fun, knowing it will be the very last.

He left a great legacy to be fair. I'm sure he'd want us to enjoy his last books :)

"No, there is another"

He actually finished another Tiffany Aching discworld book due to be released called Shepherd's Crown.
