I think reopening the earlier discussions is a good starting point.

What happens to Druchii.net? Does it mean zero interest?

Did the inclination evolve?
In such a scheme, I would consider fluff developments (History, roleplaying...) in common like P&M, if only for the limited numbers of posts expected.

Personally, I'm discouraged from talking about AoS here. There are people who claim AoS is failing. There are rumours that AoS is far exceeding WFB. Until we're given solid proof, either opinion is wishful thinking. But what I have observed, is that there is enough of a community out there and we're doing a good job at keeping them out.

I don't see why all games should not be supported by the community and enjoyed by all.

This is how I feel sometimes. I have played probably 12 games in the last two months, but I haven't posted any battlereps, and I try to keep other post just as simple as I can, mostly cause I don't want my fun picked apart. AoS brought me into the war gaming, I have read the 9th Age, but it doesn't really interest me.
And while I do enjoy the painting and modeling sections, I wish that there was more content in different areas. I like forums over other social media, cause I feel they can give deeper insight to the game and current medias, but that said I find my self posting more on the AoS facebook page and on youtube about tactics and game play, mostly some people will come to my aid if there is some hate on my observations.
I want this community to grow and I want a place here, but I feel that because I am with AoS crowd I don't.

We must keep WH8 forum, if only because this is where we have 99% of our rich heritage, even if the players actively using it remain few.
AoS is definitively an active part of the gaming community, and the Mod team unanimously wishes to be AoS-friendly.
T9A being the ETC game and delivering a good quality rules, it seems a good bet for the near future. I am engaged in improving the DE army book and the background will be delivered during summer.
KoW has some success, Amboadine is keen to have its home here.
All other games, as usual.
That makes lots of silos, with only P&M in common. We are willing to go that way. Maybe it would be time to reorganize indeed.

In a more distant future, with the perspective to integrate a bit more the other Elves, that would increase again the number of different silos, with again P&M in common.
We could envision a single, large P&M forum, to become the main purpose of the pan-Elven forum. Background and tactics might be divided in as many silos as they are games and factions, or instead regrouped at a risk of losing coherence and character. To be further examined.

+2
This seems a good summation & solution.
If the new name was to be limited to evil Elves from all games systems, it could be done already.Cultofkhaine wrote:I think (as much as I like the current name) until we move to a new name we will still be having this conversation for a long time to come and lack clarity and direction for this forum.
