Beautifully painted models - very cool

Bases I ordered 8months ago have not arrived.

I hate to break it to you... if it's been 8 months, they aren't coming.

Ya I know. Lucky I didn't pay for them. Ordered through local store. ....mantic sure has some productionn problems, their bases(movement trays) have been sold out since release.

I think I'm going to go with the 50mm base, I can't see making a cool scenic base that links together on the smaller 40mm bases.

Really good scheme bro! i love your basing! I am going to re-base all of mine for AoS... i'd love to do something like you have, with the water bases, they are so striking!

A lot of work has gone into them well done they look great! Especially the water effect makes them look very dynamic.

What's next on the painting block for you?

What's next on painting block?. Probably finish the executioners. Got the blades and cloaks left which i can finish quick. After that I got the normal corsairs, drake riders, and the Dragon.
I'm saving the converting/constructing of more models until I finish painting. Helps avoid burn out.

After this elf force I'll have to get back to painting Empire.

Hey, been a while. I did finish the Dragonlings/Harpies

Lots of people have commented at the tourny I went too about how cool they looked.

--------------------------------------

Next up, I had hit a mental block about building/converting my Divine Alter so I didn't touch it for months.

I'm using a dark eldar raider and it just looked too big for the base and the ship just looked kinda funny. So I finally went for it and cut out the middle section and it looks alot better.

Now I just need some feedback on which model to mount on it. I took some work test pics. Let me know what you guys think.
I might try and magnetize because it's usually safer in case of breakage.

This pic the GW cult priest from the Alter of Blood box. Which looks good, she fits nicely standing in the front there. The other 2 pics have a rageing heroes wizard that looks cool floating above like she is harnessing the power of the sacrifice.

And this pic has the Avatar of the [lexicon]Dragon[/lexicon] mounting the prow and screaming.

Finished my bolt throwers. Putting in some real effort to get my Dread Elves fully painted.
I only have 3 crew models so they get 1 each.
I'm not the best at painting metal so I just use the edge highlighting method. I just can't wrap my head around the shimmer effect way of painting.
A little bit of it looks sloppy in the pics but at 12+ inches away you can't notice.

not only the painting is lovely but also you're a master of taking pictures!
Winds never stop blowing, Oceans are borderless. Get a ship and a crew, so the World will be ours! Today the World, tomorrow Nagg! {--|oBrotherhood of the Coast!o|--}

Thanks!
Light Boxes really do help with the picture taking. Even a badly built one will diffuse and reflect the light in a decent way to take a good pic.

Forum has been kinda dead lately. I'm gonna start logging in a bit more often and posting stuff in an effort to get a bit more activity.
I got a backlog of Dread Elf pictures to post.

I give you the Sea Witch!
I used mostly contrast paints on this model except for the gold and some washes.

I was dabbling all over the place. Painted some 40k Primaris space marines, some Tau. Some individual models from all over fantasy.
