I've also re-based the spearmen so that the bases are more cohesive.
All together they are 500 points, my pledge for April is 10 Black Guard and a sorceress.

These old models look so great - I really love how this is coming together. Such a nice army.

It's quiet around here.
I've been working on my next unit for this month's pledge. It's a unit of ten of Black Guard.
It's a shame about the fifth edition models not having a lot of command models. To get around this I've had to do a little converting.
The unit is almost finished, most of the colours are done, quite a bit of tidying up to do and of course they need snow on the bases.

I will not say this about all the minies, but I definitively like the old executions and spearmen better. Deffinitly like the paint job

Looking great! I think these 5th Ed models are dope, I got lucky and found a 5th Ed CoK in the bits box for $1 only missing an upper jaw/face (of the cold one), and as luck would have it there was another cold one missing a tail also for $1. Love the style of that era.

I can only agree these guys look great. At least you make them so! Well done!

I just love this army so much! The sorcerer cam out great.
Why did you go with a round base for him?

Thanks.
I'm being brave lol. I thought I'd give it a try seeing as you can use round bases in Age of Sigmar, plus the fact that it gave me lots of room to tart it up a bit :-)

Amazing work! You have really breathed new life into old models! I was always very negative about the old elf models, they always looked too squat and heavy to me, I love the plastics, their movement and lithe-ness. the way you present these though, they look like heavily armed and armored elves, ready to ruin someones day. Big fan mate, really good job!

She is awesome - you have a very rare piece there (She was unreleased)!
I have one myself not painted yet - the perfect addition to your army.

Thanks, yeah she is rare. One of the unreleased Sorceresses.
It was dilemma for me to paint or not, but I'm glad I did now.
