@ Taint
That is wanted that the blades become center of the miniature. Because this is a competition miniature and I have no banner bearer with a lot freehand work I need some other qualities for fighting in this masterclass category

Because of the anatomy.. I don´t know why but on pics the proportions look more compact than in reality... Be sure that it look better than you can see him here.

@ Tijminator,
done, on the upper pics this part was still unpainted.

@ Rasputin
the skin get some correction step and is now much smoother especially the tail. also the head get more contrast to get more deep. Because of the horns, some say they are amazing, others say less contrast... I like them how they are so no change here.

If so please Lord, the female avatar is only because of my favorite for female evil elfs. Because of the demon, I hope so to enlage my collection of 8 gold and silver demons.

the skin tone is a basic mix of liche Purple and Scorched Brown... should look more purple and then lighted with dwarf Flesh. THe mouth is something I forgot every time, also on these last pics. But for the competition I will change this.

Because of the Gold NMM, I made it like described in my Topic "Increase my own level" It based on CHaos Black, Scorched Brown, Snakebite Leather, Golde Yellow and White. The secret behind this is the way I paint. Making Blendings is something completly different than to paint with layers. I mentioned the problematic on my last workshop I offered. But after 12 hours my students were able to paint a good blending and some were also able to paint some beautifull NMM. It really depends on the technic. I´m thinking about making a second workshop in cologne in summer, That could be parhaps interessting for dutch ppl because of the less distance.

@ Bart,
it´s a mi od CHaos Black, Scab Red, Red Gore, Red Ink and Gloss vanish, hihlighted with some blood red in it. The secret is the arrangement of the splatter.

THe idea isn´t from my own, like described on the beginning of the topic. I only optimized the conversion and the paint job

Another amazing job, only bit I can find fault with in any way is the guys mouth seems a little off, maybe looks a little light in colour, but that could quite easily be from the photo (looks better in one of the other pics).

Wow...

That's some real quality over there... I think you have a very, very big chance on winning then Golden Deamon...

I really like the leg armour now, it looks like the horns are coming from his upper leg, sticking through his armour, and waiting to hurt someone.

Also, the tattoo rules. It looks just so real.

What I do wonder about, though, is the balance of the mini. It looks like it is standing next to the edge of the base, making it topple. I assume it's fastened to it's wooden base? (Gaming with it would be impractical anyway, I'd freak out if anyone came within 30 cm of that mini with these paint-scraping, model-kidnapping rulers of death..

)

With some luck I'll be in Roermond then, close to Germany. I'd be *really* interested to be there.

The first one looks good, tho I'm sorta numbed of NMM, feels like it's coming out my ears these days, but what can you do.

The groin plate is very nicely painted.

Congratulations! Must be pretty cool to see one of your models on a big screen there.

The other models look very cool too, but yours was indeed one of the better ones.

Is there by the way any more news on the workshops you might give? I'm really looking foward to it if I am able to go.

Yes it´s true I won a new golden demon trophy last weekend in France with that Slaangor! This was my hardest competition so far. Like every year the french competition was a meeting point for some of the best painters of the world. That´s why I´m really happy about the gold trophy I get there for my work.
