I feel a bit sorry for entry one, it's also great. But what can you do against that second entry! But very good work, both of you.

I agree, the effort and skill put into both images is far beyond anything i could achieve, but the second one has something to it. I cant put my finger on it, but i think it has something to do with the skin tone and background. Thanks for the votes, keep them coming!

I think the first one has some pretty rad stuff going on. I like the delicate background and the sword chained to him. I also like the little bit of thigh that both are showing off...nothing like an elf comfortable enough to kill and enslave his enemies without wearing pants.

I actually remember entry 2 from a while ago. I can't remember where I saw it ... It looks like its artist just added DRAICH into the picture.

Khel: are you saying the work is not their own? Or that it is theirs but they have just edited an old peice. I can tell you who entered the piece if you can remember where you saw it before ;)

I'm saying that it is there's but it looks like they've just edited an old piece. No need to tell me who the artist is either (I know who it's done by). :)

Nice works here.
Entry one is nice but it lacks depth. The drawing is nice is the color that need to improve.
Did the autor used water colors? I do not think it was the best choice along with ink.
Entry 2 is cool and use a difficult source of light (from behind) that's very difficult to achieve properly.
I remember this image in a old topic and the author told us he used photoshop. Nothing to blame, it's a nice tool, but purist painters like me prefer brushes ;)

@Fulgrim

Sorry, my bad. I was remembering the rules for the short story competition where you aren't allowed to use existing stories and that you must write a completely new story. I got a bit mixed up, that's all. :)

No hard feelings, eh Drak?

Mods can now unsticky the entry thread, its been dormant for ages.

Thanks for all the votes, everyone. I think that the first entry deserves a place somewhere in the D.R.A.I.C.H., since A: It's totally rad, and B: They actually bothered to enter.

My vote also goes to entry #2, but must remember to applaude entry #1 as well - I especially like the japaneese mood of the pic.
