Hehe you are definetly cheap^^ gotta love them unit fillers, a great way to get away cheaper. Btw the fillers look awesome, they actually look as if the belong in the unit.

Wow! My first reaction was that the pattern really seemed complicated, but in some way not really in the same style as the chest piece. I know, I know, that it will probably take another path later on and evolve into something more coherent, but this was just my comment. Otherwise it is all masterfu...

white, wash lightly with badab black, highlight with adeptus grey. To achieve the green I don't know, try out some scorpion green with highlights.

A deathstar is usually a one-trick-pony. Which means that as soon as you've used it once, the opponent can find a way to go around it (baiting would be the easiest in this scenario). Still it's a formidable force.

Simple and effectiv (as pointed out earlier). This really shows what a good paintjob can do to your army. You have really dark bases and a dark paintjob (those horses are really dark), which doesn't really make your paint jobs to stand out as much as they could. The horses for example, kind of blend...

Too bad that it ended as it did Dalamar, I suffer with thee. In my circle we're really hard on rules (we even bet on them sometimes, highest bet is 30£), your dragon can of course fly over other units and engage them! It's an awesome trick. Good luck to your future fights!

Daemonette torsos should work nicely with some GS work. Combined with the other components you mentioned it will look good with a little GS.

It looks as if he's carrying really baggy pants... His lower body reminds me of a Michelin man TBH. I really think you should take Layne's advice (check his blog, he's had alot of experience).

True. A solid argument. Maybe a new God has entered the warhammer world? Though I do think that some players may give you a hard time, but it's your conversion and your model, you are free to do whatever you want with it. Good luck and may your hand stay steady.

I think this can turn out good, eagerly waiting for more results. The pentagram is ok but it's not very warhammer, take Dalamar's suggestion. Walk the extra mile and your mini will look better.

Paint him a really dark purple (liche purple + chaos black 50/50). Then you give him a wash all over with badab black or other dark wash. After that you give him a purple highlight, a kinda dark purple, and only lightly. If you paint the bones and stuff protruding from his head you won't look at all...

That's the kind of units you use your breath weapon on instead. Don't aimlessly charge into a fully ranked unit. They will get you by the CR. If you're backed up by another unit then you should be able to break it.

I did this and it worked fine, didn't use much greenstuff nor filing or cutting.

Regarding buying Morathi, she costs so much! I could recommend buying the wings alone but not the whole figure... Damn they really heightened the prices on metals.

Get your ass (joke) to the closest shop and get some washes. They'll really bring a depth to your models which they certainly need! Otherwise I really like the conversions. Though it looks like a High elf Army.
