I've had more succes with doombolting a chymera, or sending COT pegasus master in. Also shadow can pit of shades it, quite good. Hi, I usually field two Bolts. If I see large targets, then I deploy mine back behind my own troopts. They can shoot the large targets anyway, without penalties. Here the strange part comes. I do not expect them, to hit and kill stuff in the first round. They usually kill later in the game. Wounding...

My main Problem is the Hellblaster, Steam Tank and the Demis. It feels like Empire is so much more flexible then dark elfes.
