I have 12 of them and can't figure out how to put them in one unit.
They physically just don't rank up due to the tails.

Are they better with 2 units rather than one big unit.
I could do either one big unit of 12 with a full command or two small units of 6 with full command.
Which is better?

just a note only 1 arcane item per sorcerres, even scrolls now, so list 2 (dispel scroll and darkstarcloak) is invalid

I edited the list removed it and added a Corsair and a BG. Also changed the total point to 1998

List A has the SS with LD9 but 1 only lore available.
List B has 2 L2's so 2 lores will be available but no LD.

OK I kicked it around a bit and came up with two lists A&B Please tell me what you think. Both keep the CoB. Thanks for the comments If you cut the Death Hag, you do not have a BSB. Since a BSB is quite important to have, I don't think that's the best idea. Thanks Thanee I agree I would consider cutting the second Sorceress (and replace the Reaper Bolt Thrower with another 5 Harpies to get the points down)...
