I roll the 'r' and pronounce the 'ch' as a frictive like in the Scottish 'loch' (i.e. somwhere between a 'k' and sounding like you're clearing your throat!) and rhyming with drake. I do much the same for 'druchii' with the 'u' rhyming with 'two' and the 'ii' pronounced as in the 'y' in 'hasty'. As p...

Heh, I like the 'cow ones'... The riders were stiff and small, and the quality of the Cold ones themselves was a little lacking, but I liked the idea of the big, lumbering buggers. :P

I really loved the old Hydra Beastmasters too. Though, back then my painting was truely pathetic. :P

Honestly, I'd suggest just sticking a bunch of trees on individual bases, maybe with the odd cluster here and there. You can make the forest as extensive as you like, and nudge individual trees about if they're being a little too obstuctive.

Could they? Yeah... Should they or would they? Probably not. I've never heard of this aeyther causing incredible metabolism thing, but I doubt long lived, near eternally beautiful beings who despise weakness would voluntarily become bloodsuckers. They're already magically powerful, and more likely t...

Personally, it sounds absurd that he couldn't do that: the mighty vampire lord stops summoning his hordes of undead legions because...they won't exactly fit into neat ranks. RAI only goes so far... If the vampire wanted the protection of a unit, he would have either joined said unit, or raised a se...

"Actually" whispered Anast, "I'd be more inclined for Serraken to kill the guard with magic while we cover the servants with our crossbows." He turned to the mage, "Not to belittle your abilities Serraken, but there's less room for error with only one target." Anast su...

There goes a useful trinket Anast huffed. Had they time he would have suggested testing the range on them, as simply standing back and firing crossbow bolts may keep him out of range, as it was... “Beware, I do intend on picking it up on the way back...” The shade wrapped the amulet in a scrap of c...

The introduction of magic counters is a sure fire way to keep it balanced; I'm not relying on magic (though it's proven useful), and the mages have been forced to work without it and survived (though bloody) so... I think its working well and isn't having a really huge effect on the game.

Anast grabbed the ‘magic eater’ out of the air and held it in his palm; it felt almost like a coat of oil ran constantly across its surface. Quickly dropping it around his neck, momentarily lowering his hood as he did so, the shade wiped his hands distastefully down his front. Turning towards Ki’ila...

Perhaps if you simply dragged the midtones slightly further into the darker tones on certain parts of the AoW model (specificaly the armpits, under the breasts, the navel and the area of the thigh around the flesh hooks) and, as you say, blended the highlights on the GW Sorceress more? As I say, it'...
