Over here we've got the opposite problem, it's nigh on impossible to find a 40k player, but theres fantasy players in droves.

i've tried using boiling water, but failed to bend corsair cloaks with it. Actually, there is some truth to what he says, in 7th you needed a min number of core units, 8th it's core %, but in 8th theres also a min number of overall units (not just core)

On the list, the only thing i'd say, is if you can, go up to a level 4 sorc and pick a lore that can grant magical attacks (Metal/fire probably your best bets).

being able to grant magical attacks to ranged or combat troops would definately thin out those ethereals.

Indeed they can even be healed, but only by lifebloom, not regrowth, because regrowth only resurrects lost models, not wounds.
