Guinea Pig hydra: has Keira Knightley ever appeared in a film without showing at least a little bit of thigh? I hope not. ~~~ It would have to live a life in the wilds, with or without it's mother - if it starts on Elven lands. DE would kill it or throw it in the Cauldron (thereby killing it). HE w...

It is entirely possible that there may be a half-blood wandering the Warhammer world somewhere. Absolutely. But it is also possible that there is a Goblin-Rat, or Lizard-Dwarf. I believe it would be most likely to be a HE/Human offspring, that would then be exiled, or wander the Earth so as not to b...

in team games, against high elves do you get to reroll against non elves as well? read the way eternal hatred is worded. like dark elves and lizards vs high elves and skaven. do you eternally reroll to skaven? No. You forever get a re-roll against High Elves and High Elves alone. Skaven are not Hig...

I think that DE would certainly, erm, have their way with any female slaves should they wish, but would probably kill either them soon after (either on the Altar or for fun) or if a particularly tasty damsel then keep them and kill the child. This would probably be mostly Corsairs however, as Highbo...

Nagash certainly could fry legions, indeed he destroyed an entire civilisation with one spell. The problem with Nagash is that sometimes he can do that and at other times he is barely alive, kind of like Sauron only he has gone up and down more times. Fair do's, my knowledge of Nagash is what's in ...

- We kinda need to know what various equipment your Heroes have. - Manticore's have taken a huge hit in 8th. You could still get away with one if you play it perfectly, but two feels like a big waste of points. - As Enkiel said the 'scroll caddy' is no longer viable as characters can only take one m...

I would say that the top mages would be kroak #1 without a doubt, teclis, nagash, lord mazdamundi, other second gen slann, kairos, third, forth, and fifth gen slann, lords of change. The Slann to start off with are in a class of their own. They are capable of moving continents. However, what is the...

I really really love the idea. I think it'd be best to keep it simple though, the tissue idea may get overly fussy and complex. I think taking off the head and simply having the end of the stump all bloody and mangled would suffice. I think it's the concept itself that makes it so awesome that the a...

Drainial has said it best. What exactly have the other races achieved? No one has invaded a land and claimed it because it would completely change the game. Even after Storm of Chaos, nothing changed. The point of the entire game is we play these battles. Malekith is pretty much the only leader who ...

Teclis and tyrion have amazing fluff. I have read dark elf AB and the high elf one, and it is way more fun to read the high elf portion on tyrion and teclis that it is to read about malekith and morathi. Tyrion is an amazing warrior as well as a great general. I love reading the fights he is includ...

Ah we have much in common my friend, as a fellow Druchii/Chaos leader. Our Sorcerer Lords are win purely because they can have armour. DE Sorceresses do not have this luxury so you have to spend at least 35 pts for the PoK to make sure she lasts longer than one turn. But you don't want to rule yours...

I think you've put the PoK on the wrong character. Either your Sorceress or BSB would be better off with it, as they need to stay alive much longer and your DL already has a 1+ AS. Fluff wise it doesn't sit right with me to use BG. I know you've explained them as different bodyguard, but BG are Male...

of course both work by very diffrent systems, so saying 1 is better isn't realy possibl. it very much depends on what kind of army your running This really. We can't help you out too much unless you say what the rest of your army will be. In a 2000pt and less army I wouldn't try to fit both in. Mak...

true true. they do kinda suck when you read it Far from it. The example in history is an invasion of Marauders. Should Archaon decide to invade Naggaroth with everything at his disposal (he'd have no reason to but meh when you're the biggest bad guy in the world you can do pretty much what you want...

I suspect High elves, Lizardmen and Skaven massivly outnumber the number of Dark elves in the world, someone please correct me if they don't. High Elves have a few more, in that Nagarythe was only a small part of Ulthuan (in perspective), but in the way the DE like to, ahem , enjoy their nights I'd...

3000pt Chaos Army - BSB's or Not?
I'm working on the idea of a Grand Chaos army of 3000pts. It would be a combined allied force of WOC, Beastmen and Daemons. What I was wondering was if it's worth taking any BSB's? Since the Battle Standard only effects the same race, I don't personally feel it'd be worth taking one if it only affec...

I was interested in this too due to a fond love for the Giant (when writing my Chaos lists they usually came to 225pts over yet the Giant would not go), so I asked my GW whether Dogs O' War rules still applied. They told me no Of course I'm not saying that this is the definite answer, and it may be ...
