If youre running dark on the level 4, drop the dagger and use the focus familiar. Same point value, adds an extra 6" of range to all your magic missiles, plus you won't be needing the extra dice from the dagger because all the casting values are super low. If you don't like this then run shadow...

Are you sure the Cauldron won't be bound spells i.e. casket of souls or luminark/hurricanum? seems like a pretty trendy thing in 8th ed. Also if the cauldron is bound spells, its not looking good for the anvil of doom in the dwarf update.

These sound awesome! I think the general theme for the 8th ed books are a single figure and a rather uniform background. I would love to see an executioner on the cover. Maybe Malekith on his Dragon breathing fire into the sky (the title would appear on top of the fire).
