I'd think the list is fine as is but I'd drop some exes (to 21) and add another unit of 5 dark riders shields musician xbows. This way the unit will be less unwieldy, still pack a punch and you gain even more board control with that extra unit dark riders

I would drop the musician on your dark riders. He is much more usefull when you double flee .
This gives you ten more points to equip your master . give him lance and luckstone and then he is a real treat.

Biggest buff: characters can take a fast cav mount and are cheaper (support a 1+ armor save with only mundane items)
